🚨 On parental leave, but am hearing Richy Ledezma is starting for PSV today in the Europa League! Check him out on @CBSAllAccess!— Roger Gonzalez (@RGonzalezCBS) December 10, 2020 This guy seems to have the goods fairly regularly. But now I'm wondering if his lineup leaks are just because the games are on CBS and they get the team sheets early.
Always be first to be second! Anyway, I don't follow PSV closely, but I've heard great things about Ihattaren, who's also starting - hope that means there will be plenty of good opportunities for exciting combination play today.
I was just about to write him off too! He just turned 20 and wasn't starting yet. Hopefully he turns his career around.
A lot of people forget he lost half a season to covid. Otherwise he likely would have integrated at the end of last season into the preseason, at 19. Instead he's doing it now. That said, starting games like today doesn't mean much, because it's fixture congestion & little is on the line. But w/ the token opportunity, he can then impress. Frankly, his performance in helping them get a result over the weekend meant a lot more to their trust, regardless.
Honestly if he becomes a regular off the bench before the end of the season that's a big step. I like his potential as a distributer
You have got to be shitting me. That’s a bad knee injury...if they bought in a stretcher. Sadly, it’s likely his stock will go immediately down. The guy was really in contention to be good. Hoping it’s not ACL or MCL injury.
Scratch the optimism. I initially thought he banged knees, but that didn't happen, & instead it was likely an awkward plant. Now just have to hope for the best. Realistic best case in these situations is mid-grade mcl sprain, which can mean pain, but positive prognosis in a few months.
Really unfortunate. This will dampen his immediate future career. Hopefully it’s not a ligament tear.
Ledezma stretchered off after this injury -- he was obviously in a lot of pain and didn't even try to stand https://t.co/yNLos7Oacz— scuffed (@scuffedpod) December 10, 2020 Here’s the incident, the guy didn’t really take him out but it wasn’t non-contact. Looks like it happened when he planted his right foot. Honestly I think it’s really bad.
He was playing pretty well prior to being taken off. Unfortunately this looks like a knee injury from the way he went down.
Why would you do that... am I the only one who would just immediately fall if I knew that I couldn't plant my foot correctly?
oh man. This sucks for him. Hope it isn't a long term thing.... Guess I won't have to be too upset that the game isn't on the CBS app for some reason.
I think the normal instinct is to try and keep your balance. Here Ledezma likely didn't sense the full danger from his clumsy opponent.
So much for being fine. I wish him a speedy recovery. P.S. I don't think he is anywhere close to 150.
