Good team to pick for his first start. Should at least be motivated and confident against them.

Absolutely the best Britishism there is and I'm sad every day that we don't say it here.

I think you could find the exact moment Chelsea fans really embraced CP by charting the frequency of ppl tweeting "Pulisic is pants" during their games

Does he play enough to get his own PDP thread? What's the verdict, @bungadiri?

    Oh yeah, absolutely.

I'll be able to tend to it later today, but please do feel free if the spirit moves you.

In fairness I'm pretty sure Lille is kind of injured at RB

    And... he’s off.
But Jonathan David is still on. And he’s been garbage the whole season.

WhoScored has him at 7.5, tied with Yazici for Lille's best.

In fact, David Turnbull is the only player rated higher on either team at 8.2.

Got to be happy for Tim. It's been a long road. Hopefully he starts seeing some more starts.

Fotmob gave Tim a 7.8, second only to Turnbull among all players to appear.

Sofascore says 7.4, second on Lille to Yazici's 7.5.

I'm not watching so maybe didn't look great besides the goal, but whatever he did made the computers happy.

I watched the first half. Weah was hardly ever on the ball. Cannot speak to the second half.

The whole world is going to be run by robots in a few years, so Tim & everyone else better start appeasing them now.

Maybe they'll get titillations in humans playing sport like we do. Not much point in us or robots watching each other kick a ball passed each other. "Oh, I got a better algorithm than you...in your face".
