DNP for Ledezma, but I think they clinched going through.

    PSV are through.
I covid times you can have a huge number of players, but because of the UEFA instigated insane shedule of teams playing international matches, injuries are occurring like an infectious disease and all of a sudden your bench isnot that stacked anymore.

This week may provide something of a status check - Jong PSV play today (home) and Friday (away); PSV play tomorrow (away) and Thursday (home).

I think in less-complicated times Ledezma might be able to participate with both teams comfortably, starting for Jong PSV and subbing in for PSV, but with Covid protocols, travel, and tightly-spaced games, I'm not as confident.

So far the signs seem promising, however.

Yeah lots of people on Twitter acting like ledezma was now unlikely to do anything to help psv after being on for a few seconds when veen equalized

Wonder what they feel like after he provided the assist for the equalizer? I bet that attitude changed for a brief second.

I can see why they recorded that on VHS for posterity, really great end to end football.

Seems about right. PSV had a golden opportunity to cut the Ajax lead at the top of the table but failed to do so. Fans probably thinking they dropped two points instead of earning 1 point. That's fair thinking even if the result seemed like a fair result for both teams.

He's impressed more than not in his limited minutes. Soft touch, quick passing recognition, vision outside his area, good defensive effort & instincts, + the physical tools appear sufficient. If there are things that lower his peak it's that last factor & lack of take-on ability.

But he looks up to this PSV/Eredivisie level & the manager should look at expanding not contracting his minutes. Full-fledged member of the rotation, imo. Play him as a standard 10 or offensive 8 and he'll look even better most likely.

It’s a seemingly small thing but when he does he takes really nice corners, they always feel threatening.

Basically asserting that the first trio of players are better at 70 percent than the second trio (which includes our guy) at 100 percents. Also speculating that the coach is stupidly elevating the Europa cup over the league.

Don’t know how much more he can do to win over their fans. Man has 3 assists across all competitions in limited minutes.
