I'm not basing my opinion on what the media says, I'm exposed to very little of it, I'm basing my opinion on watching him 1v1 and seeing how easily people can go past him or put crosses in unopposed.

He'll probably end up being a right sided forward player and not just a right back.

I wouldn't mind Graham Potter as the next England manager. Plays really nice football.

Persistent fouls I guess .. he was only booked a few minutes ago so it’s a bit naive tbh

The ref overruled his ( what looked like the correct ) decision to give a penalty :)

Brighton deserved the win on balance

Hes more than a runner. He can beat people for fun with his technique. Also his delivery is pretty good. I would have him ahead of trippier

I think Trippier is very underrated on here, he pretty much always does at least a solid job for England and his set pieces are usually better than anyone else in the side which is a huge weapon for us. His defending seems to have improved a lot since joining Atletico as well.

Considering TAA has underwhelmed for England, Lamptey has very little experience in general, and James looks good but on a tiny sample size i'd say he's probably the most likely to be starting for England come the Euro's, yet alone not making the squad.

TAA has barely played for England only 12 caps in 3 years and certainly hasn't had a run in the side, to say he has underwhelmed is very premature

Dortmund currently strolling 5-2 and Sancho can’t even get on the pitch from the bench! I think that’s quite worrying unless I’m missing something.

And exactly how many games do you give people to prove themselves for England? England play 10 games a year in non-tournament years. If your position is high competition then if you don't hit the ground running the people who do will take your place.

He wanted to leave but they kept him. His head is gone. He’ll likely have a crap season.

To leave to go where? Man utd are garbage. I think he has been disrupted but its just lack of form. He'll be back

most of his games have come in friendlies or as sub, I'd like to see him start every game at right back for a couple of international breaks in a row to truly settle into the side, same thing Chilwell got on the other side when he hardly set the world alight to begin with

Wouldn’t surprise me if he’s gone in January but for nothing like 100 mil that Dortmund wanted for him. The longer this goes on, his value is just going to plummet.

Would love to see Ben White called up if Gomez is out in March. He’s pacey, good on the ball, times his tackles well and starts nearly every game.

If Sancho got left out for another fullback that would just be insanely ridiculous even by Southgate's standards. There is absolutely no need to take so many RBs. TAA plus James or Trippier if Walker is going to play CB is already 3 players covering for one position so who knows why we would need 4. Rice can also play as a CB. Another reason why his formation stinks, a player like Keane/Mings/Dìer potentially going in place of a game changer like Sancho

I really like CalvertLewin and he’d be in my squad but at least two of his goals were flukes - the first one today for example .. granted he was well placed ( as usual) but he didn’t know anything about it .. I think it went in off his trailing knee .
