𝐇𝐄𝐑𝐄 𝐖𝐄 𝐆𝐎! 👊🇺🇸At 22 years, 154 days, tonight’s Starting XI vs. 🇵🇦 is the second youngest in #USMNT history.More on our squad: https://t.co/3z3rLXbEFm #USAvPAN | #USMNTisBack pic.twitter.com/pGm10TeHmy— U.S. Soccer Men's National Team (@USMNT) November 16, 2020 I don't think this helps integration much. Gregg seems more focused on continuity w/ the "group" here, with a few placeholders. In addition he's trying out that cm trio, w/ a creator on the wing & more natural striker to see if those tweaks would make it function better offensively than last match.
I don't like the Ream selection but whatever. I'm starting to lose hope with GB. Upfront I would have started Reyna--Soto--Nico. Nico has played the wing many times.
The Ream selection is better than Miazga's. It's a possession style and hard to justify starting Brooks back-to-back in a friendly or playing 2 inexperienced guys next to each other. So Ream was rather necessary. But Richards could have been his partner to start evaluating him. We know what Miazga is & isn't.
Richards must feel like he's pushing for time at the world's best club but can't find his way into a starting position in a friendly.
Yeah, Richards should play here. That's the only real disappointment for me. Hoping Greg gets what he wants by half and makes some changes. Would like to see Richards get a half for sure along with Johnny. Maybe Horvath for a half too. Then let's get a Ledezma + Soto debut, plus whatever Weah's maximum minutes are.
I thought this game would be more about holding our cards closer to the vest v. an Ocho foe while checking out the new stuff. Reggie Cannon is this cycle's albatross around the (my) neck. I was always supportive of USS giving Steffen all those minutes to help his career, less so in regard to Cannon - way overdone, he's not that good. So...... why no help for Horvath? I'm not getting it. He needs to develop familiarity with his team. There's not much time.

Wow, we are gonna lose. Fire Beerholder guy... In all seriousness, I'm looking forward to goals today, I hate 0-0 games.
fine with the lineup changes as long as richards and brooks get decent time paired together also hope ledezma and soto get in would like to see cardoso, weah and robinson again (so dest can slide to rb and see how they both do against a concacaf squad)
Except for maybe the Australia friendly in South Africa just before the 2010 WC, this might be the smallest venue I've ever seen the US ever play a "real" match instead of a closed-door scrimmage in.
I predict Llanez will come away the big winner from this game, he is going to fill the Pulisic role as the guy determined to go to goal and demand the ball.
