@SF19 Yes, I know. But I'm looking for this semifinal in real HD and not SD version (either upscaled or with black bars). This version on UEFA TV website is SD since they have no rights to show real HD versions even if they have it. TV broadcasters have copyrights for real HD, more precisely a German Premiere in this case (perhaps Sky Sports as well).

Shouldn't Sky Italia share those rights? Premier is defunct and has since rebranded as Sky Germany/Switzerland. I know Sky Italia was airing that match in May through the summer but I can't remember if they had it in true HD. Premiere HD (former german pay-tv channel, now called sky) broadcasted it in HD! but very hard to find someone who has it. they broadcasted on the semfinal first leg matchday the chelsea-liverpool match: and on the second matchday the ac milan-manU match in HD.
I'm wondering if ITV in England did it in HD too, because the first leg played in Manchester was broadcast in HD. I'm very surprised Sky Italia hasn't aired the match in HD because they are under the same umbrella (they're sister companies).
@locofutbol You mean we are... locohdfutbol! LOL. There are some games that exist in HD from the 1990 World Cup! Can you imagine watching Maradona in HD? Maybe one day they will show the games. I can only hope.
I'm not saying this with bad intentions. I also look for the best possible quality but there are many obsessed people and they think that until a game from the 60s it is in hd and that is not true. There are people who retouch the games and sometimes they look worse because the image is slower than the original on the DVD.
Difference between SD and HD is huge for people who pay attention to that aspect. I don't think it's stupid at all to look for games which we know were broadcasted in HD. When it comes to football, there are WC 1990 games broadcasted in movies in Italy and it was collaboration between Germans and Japaneses who borrowed them the equipment. WC 1994 wasn't broadcasted in HD but games were filmed in HD by Japanese NHK. After that all World Cups were broadcasted in HD. WC 1998 on NHK only, WC 2002 on Japanese and Korean TV channels, and after that on multiple TV channels around the world. As for UCL games, I think it's an amazing feeling for all collectors to find first UCL games that were broadcasted in HD, starting from UCL final in 2005, UCL final in 2006, and then regularly from the season 2006/07. There are UCL and Premier League games filmed in HD that were played before 2005 but it's also hard/impossible to find them. There are some El Clasicos played before 2005 that are filmed in HD and were shown recently on some TV channels. Olympic games starting from 1984 were filmed in HD, while first Olympic games broadcasted in HD were in 1992, all that by Japaneses. All in all, looking for anything else than this in HD is stupid because it's not real HD and simply doesn't exist. I'm Partizan fan, please can you tell me which Partizan games from UCL 2010/11 do you have in HD? Perhaps we can make some deal.

The game wasn't on ITV in the UK, they showed the 2nd leg of Liverpool v Chelsea instead. Sky Sports would have covered the Milan game though, so a HD version was available in the UK.
