For the first time ever I'm confident Peru will come out with 6 points.

We own Paraguay in recent years and Brazil is a hit or miss but I think we're good enough to win especially in Lima.

They will show the games but on a 48-hour delay.

Well, at least we can watch the games on the internet... it's not the same as watching the games on tv since internet links can be taken down or maybe the video is a few seconds delayed... but I can't complain! people in the 90's didn't have these options! their only options were:

    1- pay for the match
2- listen to the game on the radio

Uruguay should win this match. This worries me.

The most likely we are to win, the worst they tend to play.

Not happy with the draw last night. The result I suppose was good enough given the situation we were in, but I would have rather taken the 3 points. Before the game I wouldn't have accepted just a point.

Now we have Brazil, Chile (in Santiago) and Argentina. I'm usually confident but after yesterdays performance there needs to be a couple improvements. I just hope we can finally win in Santiago, we have a serious mental block there

Saw the Uruguay Chile game, and it pisses me of how the referee refused to watch the VAR of clearly a handball of the uruguayan defender in the penalty area. But also the second winner goal of Uruguay the ball touched the hand if you watch closely the repetition. We can discuss and debate wether this new handball rules are valid/Good but rules are rules,it should go bothways. Uruguay got a penalty with this rules, Chile got not. Thus Chile got robbed by this paraguayan referee, what a shame!

Still disappointed we couldn't keep our head in the game till the final whistle. A point would have been golden just the same. Ref are always gonna ******** up one way or another, it's part of the game. You have to be able to keep your focus. I felt our players got rattled there. It's disappointing, we have quite a few experienced players there that should have been able to wrap this up as an example to the younger ones.

Easy for Brazil up 3 x 0. Bolivia pretty poor in the first half. Tried to defend first but now are pushing higher and leaving plenty of spaces in the back.

Brazil in first place after the first round. 17 rounds from now, what will matter is to be one of the top four.

I’m so glad Ecuador were finally able to break out of the funk. But as usual ,Conmebol, making sure Uruguay has a chance to catch up,it happened last game, and it happened this game. One questionable penalty and one not called for Ecuador ,when Caicedo got fouled hard in the penalty box,if it was reversed, they would have called it for Uruguay.Yes ,we should be happy we won,but come on,this partiality happens all the time,Uruguay doesn’t need it,they have world class players.

Argentina, Brazil, Colombia and Uruguay will not break a sweat to qualify. They are the only teams that are barely affected by loss of players to injury/covid. In the long run (18 games) it's not a contest. Everyone else will fight for 5th place.

Uruguay were terrible this week. They will find a way as always but they are going back to their norm and fighting for repechaje as they always do, I reckon.

They were missing their two best players. They will be fine.

As I said, this is long, and squad quality makes the difference at the end.

The repechaje will be fought by Peru, Chile, Ecuador and Paraguay. All very even.

Our new players are blending in quite well. There are no world class players coming up, but they have not been pushovers either, I think we will be a pain in the ass for everyone till the very end, specially when we get some of our injured players back.

We are still getting carried a bit by Vidal, Alexis and Aranguiz. But as long as Vidal and Alexis stay in Inter playing competitive football we should be fine. Conte is a great manager and will revive them.
