Klopp's Liverpool dropping points again as they draw 2-2 in the Merseyside derby vs Everton. Currently sitting in 3rd among the EPL table after 5 match days, Arsenal vs Man City still in progress right now.
seems like it's official, will be curious at Schwarz vs Tedesco, Russian derby!!! Thioune barely gets results for HSV but 3 wins in 3 games, 1st place in 2BL. Will he be the coach to finally get HSV back to 1BL?
Schmidt's PSV won again today and remain first place in the Eredivisie after 5 match days with 13 points. Letsch's Vitesse won as well and sit in 3rd place with just 1 point behind PSV.
Even with several of their good players gone from last season, Peter Zeidler's St. Gallen are currently first place in the Swiss league, with 10 points after 4 match days
Nagelsmann's RB Leipzig win 2-0 vs Basaksehir on the opening match of CL group stages While Tuchel's PSG lose 1-2 to Man United

On topic of the Russian league, Domenico Tedesco's Spartak Moscow move into first place in the table after winning 3-1 vs Krasnodar today
Not the greatest of victory margins but good to see Klopp's Liverpool come back and grind out a 2-1 win vs Sheffield United. Gets them back on the winning track and level on points with Everton for top of the table at 13 points, although the Toffees have an extra game in hand. Important 3 points taken though, as Chelsea, Man City and United only finished with draws on this match day.
Ideally not, unless they're just run of the mill players just getting by where a job is a job. German players haven't exactly had strong track records in the Russian league though.
Thomas Letsch won the duel of German coaches in the Eredivisie, as Vitesse won vs Roger Schmidt's PSV. Vitesse are tied on points with Ajax for top of the table. PSV have slipped in form lately, losing in Europa as well midweek. They're tied for 3rd place and sit 2 points behind top spot.
Bernd Storck's Dunajska Streda drew 1-1 vs 2nd place Slovan Bratislava in the Slovakian league. They currently hold onto a 2 point lead ahead of them in the table after 11 match days. Looks like it's going to be a 2 horse race for the league title from here on out.
Covid concerns at Schmidt's PSV: https://www.reddit.com/r/soccer/comments/jhzssc/worry_at_psv_about_corona_outbreak_in_the/ Translation PSV trainer Roger Schmidt was worried about the corona situation at PSV after Vitesse-PSV. In the meantime, 8 of the 27 members of the A-selection of the Eindhoven club have been infected or infected and the next test round is on the program on Monday. “As a coach, you shouldn't think too much about things that you have no influence on, but I do worry about the health of my players and their families”, the coach said during the press conference after the match with the Arnhem team. “At the moment our players have had no symptoms. What happens if one of us gets sick, goes to the hospital and goes to intensive care? Do we still think we should continue playing football? It worries me. At the moment the virus is spreading in our team completely uncontrollably. We do everything we can and stick to all the rules and in the previous test we had three new cases. ” It is already clear that some PSV players trained with the group with the corona virus in the body last week, because the results of the tests have been delayed for a day. That is certainly not against the rules, but it is clear that the "soccer bubble" is not working properly this way. It is certainly not inconceivable that new infections will surface at PSV after Monday's test.
Even more results working in favour of Liverpool this match day. Everton lose to Soton, and Arsenal lose to Leicester. So the two Merseyside clubs are now tied at 13 points after 6 games. Still a lot of close parity so far though, only 6 points separates the number 1 to 15th spot in the table, which is currently where Man United are sitting.
Markus Gisdol is under pressure as Köln remains winless their upcoming results against Werder and Union may decide his future https://m.bild.de/sport/fussball/fu...eiden-gisdol-zukunft-73586070.bildMobile.html
Even without Van Dijk, Liverpool should be strong favourites to win the title again imo. They are capable of grinding out results when not playing well which the likes of City, Chelsea, Spurs and Arsenal are not. The work ethic and collective spirit Klopp has instilled ensures that, they rely on individuals less then the other teams.
Chelsea, Arsenal and United don't have it in them to make a proper push for the title. Not necessarily writing off City yet although their dropped points in recent weeks is only doing more favours for Liverpool. Spurs may be a formidable challenge the rest of the way though if they stay the course. I wouldn't rule them out especially if their key players like Son and Kane keep performing at a high level. Liverpool are going to need some reinforcements in the winter though to grind this season out. Hopefully that shellacking a few weeks ago gave them a good wake up call.

While it is good that Bayern break this record, but Flick need to scrutinize his (again and again) exposed high line defense. Time and again Lokomotiv threatened Bayern defense especially from the channel between Alaba and Hernandez. Against better side, this will be exposed.
Klopp's Liverpool with a 2-0 win vs Midtjylland and move up to first place in Group D of the CL. Next match is against Atalanta which should be the toughest opponent in the group who also currently sit in 2nd
