I’d like a trade to support a different MLS team. This one is a total piece of Shiite.

Gossip is Kamara is looking for a way out. Yea, he's been bad for us, but we're a bad team and he won't be as bad or even bad for someone somewhere else.

He's like a dented can of beans in the reduced price bin. Barely OK, but never gonna be good.

LAFC could probably revive him. Poachers tend to do well with them.

Gotta wonder how many players made a request for trade to prompt Olsen's firing.

DC hires Frederico ostensibly as player/coach. Has a discovery claim on Gonzalo. Now both lost to IM for chump change? It’s not the coach, or GM, in this instance that needs to be fired. It’s ownership. What a laughingstock.

Any news on the COVID situation at the team? Any outbreak like Colorado?

    Thx,

    Jay!

Don't let the door hit in you the ass on the way out. We were trash with and around him, but I don't think I saw him create anything for himself ever, and I watched all but the Atlanta game. Its not like he was constantly making runs into dangerous spaces and not getting the ball either. I will contend that there's a reason he couldn't make the 18 at a Shenzen team that was relegated with several games left.

Listened to the latest edition of the "Allocation Disorder" podcast. Stejskal and Tenorio lead with the Olsen firing and discussion of DCU generally. Very good and, not surprisingly, consistent with the consensus views here. They really give Kaplan a hard time on the his expressed intentions versus actual accomplishments. Summary, DCU is moving forward, but as cheaply as possible and more for show than substance.

Im not trying to say Kamara is really good and blame the team entirely, but i think you're being harsh:

    1. There isnt a striker in the world who could create for himself with these conditions. You'd basically have to go on 60 yard solo runs all the time.

    2. Kamara used to make a lot of runs, but i can see how it would be discouraging for a striker to make run after run and either be ignored or have to chase down passes that favor the opposing defenders.

If he does wanna leave, he can ******** off. But i cant imagine any striker coming here and improving us.

If we could ppay lime the 2nd half of the Chicago game, if Ola couldn't perform with that team, then no excuses.

First off, this team straight up blows ebola infested monkies.
He doesn't do much of anything. I wasn't exaggerating when I said, I haven't seen him create anything for himself or even make runs into dangerous spaces. If he was doing 2-3x a game, I'd be pole axing the midfielders, but he doesn't show for the ball. I coach U12s, all I ask my strikers to do is press the ball when it comes out of the back or turns over and to make themselves available for the ball. I've got a kid on the team who is constantly running all around the opposing backline, looking for the ball to be served. He turns up open 15-20x a game and gets decent service, maybe 5x a game. I remember being struck how in the first time Rooney was on the field, he basically posted up the center back and pointed for the ball to his feet and held off the CB to make a chance for himself. I haven't see the first half of that move even once from Kamara. Anyone would be better on another team and I am a big believer that you can't put a couple of good players on the field with mostly shit players and expect production, but he's not doing the pre-production work necessary to make chance IMO.

October 9th, or at least when that podcast was posted on PocketCast. It's the most recent one part of the "Total Soccer Show" podcast series.

Goff reports Yordy Reyna is back at training today. Hamid and Moreno are day-to-day still.

If Reyna and Moreno are ready to play Saturday, I wonder who's going to be in the Starting XI. Some players who have performed fairly well the past couple of games are going to be back on the bench (though I don't know if Reyna will be ready to start yet).

Canouse will be available, so it's conceivable that he and Moreno could pair in midfield. But I doubt that Chad would start a guy (Moreno) who is just now back from injury. What's more likely, IMO, is that Asad becomes a sub because of the minutes he's logged lately, and is replaced in the starting lineup by one of our kids.

After the past couple games, I think I would rather see Asad at the 8 paired with a traditional D-mid at the 6 rather than D-mids at both 6 and 8. The team doesn't need to empty bucket anymore this season.
