But that's about it, you know? He doesn't really progress anything. He might be one of our best options, but it would be nice if he wasn't.

Grealish does give England more freedom to their play, and something a bit different. He's almost unique as a modern player.— Miguel Delaney (@MiguelDelaney) October 8, 2020
Well, I slated the first half but have to say much better in the second half but still not convinced about the formation especially against better sides than Wales but I hope I’m proved wrong. Grealish was excellent, man of the match for me but also thought DCL, Ings and Mount when he came on looked very good also. Coady also marshalled the defence very well and just feels like Captain material, something we have been lacking at the back. I just wonder if he can slip into a back four when we eventually do switch back or will he be in the Squad just as an option with a back three.
Norn Ireland and Scotland have won on penalties which is nice to see. Scotland vs England at the euros is still on.
Southgate confirms Abraham and Sancho are back in the #england camp and trained on their own today. Chilwell has some “sickness issues” and so is being kept away a bit longer. All 3 have returned negative Covid tests and will be tested again tmrw. #cfc— Rob Dorsett (@RobDorsettSky) October 8, 2020
Couldn’t see the whole first half thought the system wasn’t functioning. Winks is really made for this level with his half turns. Grealish a cut above the rest. It will be difficult for Southgate to ignore him now.

I actually thought Winks struggled tonight, especially in the first half. I just didn’t think he looked his usually assured self, passing and ball control just seemed off to me. Better second half though to be fair.
I couldn’t see the first half properly tbh. But I thought he escaped pressure a few times very nicely in the second half. Didn’t like Keane, nor the system with 3 defenders
