ok so youre leaving pulisic out of us rosters then too?

players miss time. players have difficulty with club situations. I hear what you're saying but lets not pretend the current situation in world football is normal.

FJ was just playing recently for a top bundesliga team and has always played well for usmnt....He is not willing to compromise and play for a lower level than he knows he is capable of...I actually like that.

MUCH better than lovitz, garza, sweat ream etc....I'd take FabJ off his couch over those guys, sorry.

hes played 34 matches in the last 3 seasons, and hasnt been an effective player since then either. thats less than bobby wood.

do you take wood over our current forwards?

he hasnt been ineffective...i watched him last season he was fine.

i'm not saying he is 100% the best option right now...but all things considered, he's proven a better performer than ream, lovitz, sweat and robinson.

none of the recent left backs have performed at a level in ANY non-friendly usmnt GAME that touches Fj's top level....

his decline has yet to be proven in my eyes.

once it is has been I will agree with you...but i am still not on-board with ream, robinson lovitz and sweat at LB for USMNT.

I'd rather see other players there.

PS its so funny when you compare FJ's situation with michal bradley's....BRADLEY PROVED on the field for 5+ years that he was totally DONE..yet kept getting trotted out again and again and again (hopefully no more)....yet FJ has not had a bad performance at outside back for the US once afaik...yet he's so "OVER and done"....

let the guy lose his spot with bad play in 1 game for usmnt before writing him off IN MY OPINION.

Has FJ had a poor performance for USMNT at outside back?

    average for what?
average for all players for usmnt over the last 10 years?
average for a world cup level player??

we see different players then....you cannot be serious if you think ream, lovitz, garza, sweat etc have performed as well as he does at outside back.

im not a big fan of him at midfield though....i agree he has been average there.

if he doesnt wanna play outside back for usmnt thats a different matter.

i mentioned bradley bc he gets a pass FOR YEARS for BELOW AVERAGE play and a guy who has never been below average gets written off based on a feeling but not performance...and i think it is ridiculous.
