He was really terrible in his run as Southampton’s first choice keeper.

********ing shame. Would have been a star in Italy. Hes a clown then. Doesn't deserve an England recall

Shame about RLC but he’s another we can add to the Jack Wilshere scrapbook I’m afraid

RLC has never exactly seemed the most driven of characters in the first place. Not sure too many with his talent would be as willing to sit on the Chelsea bench (and often outside the squad) as long he did.

That’s the problem with paying these youngsters huge amounts of money BEFORE they’ve actually achieved anything

Give Patty Bamford a call or Ollie Watkins.

Yeah, not a good look is it? Couldn’t play on Saturday due to being ill and having respiratory issues but then somehow thinks going to a party is a smart idea on the same night. No wonder Dortmund are not happy with him and you would like to think he would learn the lessons but quite frankly it appears our players just don’t for some bizarre reason.

If it’s just for the Wales game, I doubt he will call up replacements but could be wrong.

Then again without Sterling & Sancho, it leaves us light out wide with only Rashford, Barnes and Grealish.

Be honest we never expected chilwell Abraham or sancho to play against wales. I would go with saka leftback and grealish barnes outwide

It’s kinda odd that Sancho has apparently claimed he didn’t know about the ‘party’ and he just turned up ...

How do you just turn up at a surprise party FFS ??

It’s just for one game? Fair enough if so. Speaking of Jack Wilshere, he looks completely finished, contract torn up today aged only 28. Where next for him?

Outside of England, they were talking about Christian Eriksen to Hertha Berlin! His career is going south quickly too.

Do any journalists question why Southgate keeps picking right backs? I don't get it. Why not Bertrand than another RB on the left. Reece James being picked really annoys me. He isn't needed and he hasn't been that good.

They don’t ask him anything like that. We’ll have 20+ questions about the Birthday party and that will be it.

Got to be honest, I’m already not looking forward to these games. I think I’m already expecting more dross like the last two games if Southgate is going to persist with the same tactics and a conservative midfield. This style and tactics just doesn’t inspire me to be honest, really hope I’m wrong. We may well beat Wales even if we are weaker but I think it will be ugly! I would worry about the other two games that actually matter!

Probably because we have so many good ones he wants to get a look at them, see how they fit in the squad etc.

What I don't understand about cheek is he could have really put himself in the shop window with a move to roma or similar. Got noticed by gareth and forced his way into the euros. Our midfield isnt our strong point. Conversely maybe hes trying to recreate what he did at Palace where in 6 months he turned their season around and forced his way to the world cup. Either way I'm not sure his hunger is therw anymore since his injury. Before that he looked determined he played brilliantly. Such a shame

Kane is slowly becoming the player Rooney could have been.
