I think this is where the Dems continue to get their asses handed them, because they seem to think that playing by the rules gets things done. Haven’t they learned anything from the last four years? When you have your foot on their throat‘s you have to step on it harder, crush them and that’s what I hope they do next year. This moderate reach across the isle rhetoric...it’s fine for the election, but I gotta be honest. I don’t care of the GOP is included in anything next term. I don’t need or want their input. We need to completely exploit the political advantage next term and make irreversible changes to procedure and election law. This is an existential fight for the GOP. They know their numbers continue to dwindle.
One of the challenges with democratic collapse is that it is precisely via unethical yet "legal" chicanery that evil gets done. So I agree if the Dems can grab power, then they need to act boldly. For all the demands that Dems "do something" right now, what can they do without the White House and Senate? One of the few things would be to threaten to shut down the government, but that seems to be shooting yourself in the foot during a pandemic.
Amen, sister. Here's my top 5: Rakim Mos Def Kendrick Lamar Jay Z (because of who he became, it's easy to forget how phenomenal he was at his prime) NAS Tupac, by the way, isn't in my top 25.
Rakim Mos Def Black Thought Talib Kweli (Don't take my word for it, take Jay's word.) Kendrick Lamar And that's some serious ********ing slander against Tupac.
Remember this wannabe? Look who’s back to echo conspiracy theories touted by POTUS using right-wing provocation media? Oh, it’s Tulsi! 🙄Can’t wait to see what her retirement gig is 😑 pic.twitter.com/qw1RWtv8ya— Molly McKew (@MollyMcKew) September 29, 2020
She’s a field grade officer in the military....embarrassing to think I wanted her to have a deep run in the primaries 3 years ago
I suspect she is too-- that she was actually a Trojan horse candidate who happened to win an election.
Well, I agree with the Unity party that the two party system is broken and will have to be fixed in some way. I don't agree with them that the best way forward is to take a back-bench representative from both parties and run the pair of them President.
