2nd post down: https://www.bigsoccer.com/threads/e...rystal-palace-fc-sep-19-2020-r.2111430/page-2 It was the angry PM's I got afterwards...LOL. It was an honest question, I have no idea where vdBeek fits into their system. Some people really take these forums way too seriously
Bizarre that you would get hate from that post. It was a good question. The only supporters who are worse are the Real Madrid folks as you found out!! Clubs with all this money feel entitled to be able to buy every player they want. they quickly sour on them if they don't produce. Personally, I think van der Beek is much better than Pogba.
Exactly!! I was happy he left for a much better league, that way he can become better and hopefully win Oranje the WC in 2026. Its really weird how some people can misinterpret other people's comments or posts. I think its because you cant hear someone's tone of voice when reading a forum post. You can probably interpret it 4 or 5 different ways if you want to
Excellent match again from Joey Veerman. Unfortunately also examples of my critique of last week. Very casual/lax attitude by trying to dribble in his own box that almost went wrong and in the extra time of the first half again not scanning the environment(box) so he didnot see the player ready to receive the ball for an open shot at the goal and shot himself without success. Fortuna in the first half had about 70% possession, so Joey played a major role in the counter attack play (H'veen 30% possession and 3 goals very effective and efficient). So far this season he has been playing against teams with the upper hand, in which he shines leading the counter attacks. I'm looking forwards to matches in which H'veen is the club with the high possession rate, to see how he fares in finding holes in fortified midfield and defense.
In the AZ match I can't see the ref get a rating higher than 5. He didnot give 2 reds for PEC Zwolle players where it was needed. VAR isnot getting rated, but that should change, as they didnot see those reds too. VAR also not higher than 5.

He played a lot better and more like he does for the national team when Thiago came on. I wonder whether he goes to the bench now.
I had no clue there are this many Dutch in the epl: https://www.ad.nl/buitenlands-voetb...ue~a1fd4dad/?referrer=https://duckduckgo.com/ Van Virgil tot Verrips: dit zijn de 31 Nederlanders in de Premier League
There's already trouble in paradise https://www.the-sun.com/sport/premier-league/1533230/ronald-koeman-losing-trust-barcelona/
He's been in rotation of some sort... looks like his "shift" is in the Europe League - started last two matches. In EPL, he's been used as a sub. I read that Son injured himself today (hamstring?) - and may be out for a while. Will be interesting to see if Bergwijn gets the spillover minutes. Gareth Bale is apparently still recuperating and working on his fitness.
Mean while Arnaut Danjuma has been on fire for Bournemouth. he has the been the most inform players for them through the preseason and continuing in the championship. 2 goals and one assist in 3 games. Bournemouth relegation has really spoil his trajectory going forward in NT. I hope before the transfer window closes, he will attract a new club based on his performance. with Krul being called up for NT, can there be an exception for him as well. strictly based on his performance.
I watched the Leeds United - ManCity match today and it was a entertaining a 1-1 draw as one will see. I love how Bielsa has his team set up and playing. I hope they do well and get into Europe next season.
