I had the same feelings with Coutinho, but I've since realized, I'm not Klopp .... it was evident within a few weeks that were actually better with a stronger midfield feeding our front three..... but I wouldn't have spotted that ...

I can spot the basics - that Fowler/Anelka/Litmanen? whoever will be better with Owen than Heskey, but .. the complex stuff I leave to the pros ...
Yeah - if I'm Juve I don't sel Baggio to ply my coin on Del Piero. but again, that's a clear problem for a clear solution ... moulding a good/great team these days is an entirely different thing, and given John Henry's great leadershgip so far, I'm years away from complaining about business, etc...

You should just pick one of these things and argue it through in a calm manner. None of these thigns actually come from anywhere.

 

problem is, in a nutshell, that editorial control over media matters. You may not like it, I often don;t like it, poor John Pilger rarely likes it ..

maybe you should ask him why the "saviour" hasn't been able to articulate any of this "saving" yet? Are last year's 9yr olds expendable?, etc? The saviour was under some extreme pressure in many of these 4 years, so , er, why, hasn;'t he brought this horror up???? Or don;t last year and the year before's 9 yr olds matter? Only next year's? Ask him next time - I'd love to know?

That - (and everything else about egregious advertizing and PR, insofar as it goes) was controlled by editorial teams - generally sane people with control of what was mass printed - until Steve Jobs and his blind engineers threw us all down the already wayyyy tooo widening rabbit hole 10 years ago.....
