It looks like he’s grown from his last game. There’s some slick passing there. You can see why he’s a big time prospect. I imagine he has followers at teams in european leagues.
Internacional is in first place in Campeonato Serie A and has both the stingiest defense, allowing just 5 goals in 9 games, and the highest scoring attack with 15 goals. Inter is also leading Group E through 2 games of the Copa Libertadores, having gotten a win and a tie before the competition was suspended back in March. They pick the tournament back up Tuesday, hosting America de Cali then a week later host Gremio in an intra-Brazil Copa Libertadores match. Sept. 29 they have the return trip to Cali then finish group play Oct. 22 at Universidad de Catolica, which it beat back in March 3-0. So a teenage USMNT-eligible player being a rotation player for them isn't something to be scoffed upon. Is he going to be a superstar or even a regular with the USMNT? No clue. But even with the big clubs Americans have landed at the past couple years, the US still doesn't have the type of depth to dismiss a teenage player regularly getting on the field regularly for one of the best teams in South America.
1304230740062810116 is not a valid tweet id Any Portuguese speakers with us? Google says his first half performance translates to “Half Mongolian.”
Im half brazilian. They meant he was kinda slow mentally in first half. To give people some context (i watch Brasileirao) Both Inter's defensive midfielders are out with COVID. This meant he was the only true DM available. He did a solid job. People shouldn`t be worried about him being called up for Brazil, unless his career trajectory changes completely. He's shown to be a solid contributor but he won't be Casemiro, Fabinho etc. As I see it, he is safe for US NT if they are interested in him The defensive midfielders are back in training, this means he probably will start losing minutes again. But Brazilian calendar is so insane, he will have more games, maybe in the Brazil Cup or some Brasileirao fxitures If anyone has any other question ask away

Subbed in at '65 and assists on the winner 4-3 Internacional 1306384035296555009 is not a valid tweet id Copa Libertadores debut?
In group play, yes. He played briefly in a pair of 2nd and 3rd round qualifiers in February. This is a nice step forward for him.
Major props. If there were BigSoccer awards, this would win one. Keep it up. Ironically, I was watching this game. And I was irritated when Internacional scored the winning goal (my wife is Colombian). Had I known a YA was credited with the assist, I might have reacted quite differently.
That is a pretty derogatory phrase about him "taking the short bus to school" from a genetic standpoint.
Being honest, I don't think he was particularly good in this game. He got the assist in the winning goal but he wasn't as sharp as he was in the three games he recently started in league play.
The music was great! The Tonight Show Theme (Heeeere's Johnny! - written by Johnny Carson & Paul Anka) played in a Bossa Nova style.

Blog post with a lot of analysis of his game: https://soccerbysousa.wordpress.com...ternacional-americas-favorite-brazilian-club/
US U23 midfielder Johnny Cardoso has reported interest from Marseille of Ligue 1. No doubt Johnny has other European interest. Internacional, currently second place in Brazil Serie A, has a well-established pipeline of sending young players to Europe. https://t.co/jjU5Q4JkXq— ChuckMe92 Soccer (@ChuckMe92Soccer) September 27, 2020
Didn't play last game and isn't even in the bench today vs RB Bragantino. Is he injured or was he sent somewhere else?
He has been dealing with a nagging hamstring injury all season, so that is most likely what is keeping him out of the squad.

That's what I read earlier in the thread, but I haven't seen anything recent. I can't vouch for that site either, tho they do seem very business-like in their info, fwiw.
