Still nothing official. And they could have the rights to delayed games two days after.

But from what I am reading the matches sadly may be postponed yet again so it may be a while before we know the official live tv rights.

These matches should both postponed and in Europe

I mean as long as it's behind closed doors and with the clubs already staying on top of their players and staff, it should be fine so long as they keep making sure that they don't have new results when testing. I say as long as they continue their good practices they can carry on.

Some of these countries have a high number of cases and players in europe might have to be quarantined when returning to their clubs.

Too much sacrifice for the players imo

Knowing their resources same day testing makes it easy to manage. I mean Italy despite the high numbers was able to do Serie A via what I brought up beforehand.

I don't think that these qualifiers would go so carelessly if they're confident in setting dates for qualifiers. Especially when football came back and what we've seen in recent qualifiers.

Of course what France did unprofessionally not immediately letting PSG know about Mapbe immediately when he poped.

The quarantine rules are back thou

James, mina, sanchez, would all have to quarantine when returning to England for example

That actually depends on the country doesn't it? England still keeps consistent with their rules:

I am assuming that due to the nature of those who play in that country while representing different countries outside of europe especially, they're clearly using a different system than the common resident. I am sure that the idea has come to mind considering the nature of their profession (footballers) especially if they're not a UK person.

Nah. There are players getting signed by bpl teams and sitting the 14 days.
Everton fans thought it was part of the reason james trained in Portugal rather than Spain, so he could avoid it.
JMezzy is right - this would be a disaster for the players. You'd need to do the matches with local players and then the WC qualification would be decided by b/c teams...they should postpone and do a bubble tournament next summer. unless there is a vaccine in which case no bubble required but short tournament probably best path.

That would be too much travel and climate contrast if it is 3 matches per FIFA dates.

Imagine having to travel from Barranquilla all the way to Santiago then back to Colombia within a week?

Or even weirder in the June FIFA break.... .... The high altitude of Ecuador then the Heat of Barranquilla against Brasil then fly all the way down to Paraguay where it will be a chilly winter.

    Not ideal at all.

that only helps the bigger teams

wonder if The new coach will still only call 23 haha

like for Colombia, Argentina and Brazil. I think this greatly helps the 3 because of depth. Maybe Uruguay as well. Hurts every other team that has limited rosters

How can Fifa compell UEFA to do that? It will just lead to teams across Europe losing players for weeks and putting players at risk.

    This is ridiculous.

I'm guessing they'll have to work something out where players are exempt from those quarantine rules as long as they tested while with their NT?

They still have to travel back. The EU teams will lose their minds over this.

    Called it.

But of course nothing is 100% set in stone; we'll have to wait and actually see what happens when we walk that bridge.

I have a feeling we are about to see a strange pattern of minor injuries that happen conspicuously just before the players are meant to return.

After doing a little research it seems like it has to be done by this weekend.

I do not know when it will be made public though but the Clubs must know by the 20th who to release. So there will be the usual leaks of the "bloqueos" until the full list is out.
