tine for the old switcheroo some great news for Duisburg; they've just signed top American collegian, Taylor Kornieck(U of Colorado). She a mid that stands over 6 ft(185cm). Very dominating presence as seen in this highlight video now hopefully she can adjust from the neverending college frat & covid parties to the seriousness of the Bundesliga!
An overview of the transfers of the Bundesliga clubs: https://www.soccerdonna.de/de/bundesliga/transferuebersicht/wettbewerb_BL1.html And here my prediction for this season: 1.Wolfsburg 2.Bayern 3.Hoffenheim 4.Frankfurt 5.Potsdam 6.Essen 7.Leverkusen 8.Freiburg 9.Sand 10.Bremen 11.Duisburg 12.Meppen
Asking to the ones who are in the know, because I don't follow Frauen-Bundesliga enough to tell: is the title of the thread accurate? Are all the other teams beyond Wolfsburg and Bayern just ten dwarves with no hopes at all to insert themselves in the duel of Goliaths at the top?
The thread title reflects the opinion of hotjam2. I wouldn`t see teams like Hoffenheim and Frankfurt as dwarves. Have you noticed that Ishikawa has left Meppen?
claims it's going to be free VfL Wolfsburg - SGS Essen | MAGENTA SPORT save this for Sunday, Frankfurt vs Bremen Livestream: Live on Sunday, 2 p.m .: Eintracht Frankfurt Women - Werder Bremen | hessenschau.de | Eintracht Frankfurt women
finally a little more of a German slang in their starting 11 for Wolfsburg(as Rolfo & Pajor couldn't make it for today)
here's the replay from yesterday's game the Bundesliga facegroup page says that several games on Magenta TV should be free(so guessling not all games)
Oberdorf was excellent. Just not because of her goals but she also assisted the action that lead to the penalty
all games are starting in less than 30 minutes. Shame, I was really forward to watching the HOF/Potsdam game but noticed Magenta only has the Bayern Munich/Sand match available & I'm givig up that it's going to be for free anymore. so this might be the only live match available Livestream: Live on Sunday, 2 p.m .: Eintracht Frankfurt Women - Werder Bremen | hessenschau.de | Eintracht Frankfurt women the official nickname is 'Baby Harder' the 2nd goal was great cuz she took it 'directly; instead of passing it. More direct is where German woso needs to go, otherewise it took WOB 8 minutes to take their first shot a goal. Bremer was definitley hurt since so few passes were coming her away, though she was able to get a few steals in & create her own chances
The shorter version of Wolfsburg-Essen. 4 minutes of Bundesliga are better than 90 minutes of FA WSL! https://tv.dfb.de/video/highlights-vfl-wolfsburg-vs-sgs-essen/28360/
two quick goals got Frankfurt back into the game & now they lead 2-1 halftime. They still got two avid goals scorers on the bench to use for later; Pransikar & Martinez. Freigang been an hoot to watch, good & bad, had an terrific shot to score, but occasionally overplays. Can't figure why Kleinheme doing as CB?: she really looked great in a few games for MVT at left FB
Frankfurt build on its lead & won 5-1. Their definitely an exciting, direct attacking team, but they need to get more wing play than just come straight up the middle Looks like Hoffenheim has lost its mojo as they got beat 1-3 by Potsdam & Bayern bought itself some more offense as they slaughter Sand 6-0
Bayern-Sand 6:0(2:0) Asseyi(2),Lohmann(9),Hegering(55),Demann(74),Zadrazil(82),Schüller(87) Potsdam-Hoffenheim 3:1(2:0) Smidt Nielsen(38),Chmielinski(44),Kössler(90+1) - Beuschlein(84) Duisburg-Meppen 0:0 Freiburg-Leverkusen 1:2(1:0) Knaak(45+1p) - Rackow(87),Csiszar(90+1) Frankfurt-Bremen 5:1(2:1) Reuteler(33),Freigang(35,53p),Pawollek(65),Prasnikar(67) - Gidion(15)
the DFB site finally showing a live game again; it's Wolfsburg vs Hoffenheim in an hour from now FLYERALARM Frauen-Bundesliga: TSG 1899 Hoffenheim vs. VfL Wolfsburg hopefully the new HOF coach hasn't screwed up the team too badly, otherwise we're looking at anoter wipeout. I wouldn't be able to watch the game in real time but will come back with an review after watching the replay
here's Wolfsburg's lineup. Interesting that their not starting Bremer, which beggets the question; who's starting at central striker? eill it be finally Popp?(which is the position she plays on the NT
