Lol, love how the military police line up at the end, right on the sideline but not in the field. Very respectful

I made a video of some of his highlights from this season:

He was a striker/winger for the youth teams and eventually transitioned into a 6 that drops between the CBs in possession so it almost looks like he's a CB at times. My thoughts are that he's a good passer, pretty tricky on the ball, and can defend well. He draws a lot of fouls by throwing his body in front of the ball just when a defender is about to try to tackle him. I think that he gets pushed around and bodied a lot which is understandable for an 18-year-old but this lack of physicality will really make him struggle sometimes. Also, on some of his passes, he could work on not having them bounce to his teammates so much, a few balls would bounce pretty hard and make it almost impossible for his teammates to control. Overall, I do like his game, he's only 18 and he's playing in Brazilian Serie A and Copa Libertadores for a fairly big Brazilian Club. He's got work to do, but his technical skills are there. It would be interesting to see if he gets called up to the USMNT by Berhalter.

Only an American could make a pass impossible for a Brazilian to control. ;)

This would coincide with his position skill set in Football Manager 2020 for those that are interested in that stuff. So it sounds like this transition to the 6 is relatively new FWIW.

Do you know if he's gotten into any of these matches? It's good that he's at least consistently making the bench.

Do we have any other potential USMNT pool players anywhere in Latin America at the moment? Alvarado, I guess. Anyone else?

Matko Miljevic is probably our next best South American prospect after Johnny

    translation:
A good game from Johnny. Did not commit at any time, after a long time away from the team

He made a regular first half, with good positioning. Evolved at the end of the first half and in the second half, when he became more aggressive with possession
