    Let's hope!

As the sometimes-reliable poster @Dave Marino-Nachison noted in October 2018, he was with their U13s at that time, so it doesn't seem crazy that he would be a U15 now.

    https://www.bigsoccer.com/threads/t...ive-work-thread.1987805/page-30#post-37215881

It also probably explains why the club wouldn't be in a hurry to answer questions about him.

Domenic-Shawn Davis is another young guy recently listed in Germany who I haven't been able to track down lately.

I mean if he was U13 in 2018 then yeah he's a 06. 2 years later he'd be in U15. He never played beyond his age group.

seems like that other site soccertalents is the one who's inaccurate.

T'Markt and FuPa both say an '02 at lower-division German club TV Pflugfelden named Henos Burgess is American, which I haven't been able to quickly confirm otherwise.

This is probably just another front-end for databases available elsewhere but the toggle at upper right lets you change player countries to see their list of guys overseas. I've seen some potential new names and also some likely errors (of the "actually he just went to college here" variety).

Does anyone know of a good way (maybe there's an advanced search page I have't found) to search Sport.de?

It seems based on a few results I've come across that there might be some names scattered through the site, but the site/URL structure doesn't lead to efficient Googling -- it seems like the furthest you can shorten links is to "sport.de/fussball/" which captures a lot of stuff that doesn't really help.

Something like this is a start:

    USA profil karriere site:sport.de/fussball/

... but the more terms you add, the messier results tend to get.

I haven't been able to confirm much about this. I found an article about him that was published in February, but it seems to have been a rework of the October stuff. And I can't easily find mention of him on the Andorra site. What's viewable of one social account I was able to dig up suggests he was in the U.S. this summer, but that's not particularly surprising.

I'm not quite certain, but it looks like a change may have been made to FuPa that makes it much harder to search via Google strings. If that's true, that's bad news, because it's extremely useful and doesn't have a helpful advanced search page that I know of. But if I missed something, please tell me!

Logging for now the existence of the site Fussifreunde.de, which includes nationality listings on its player pages. (Found it while looking up an old name from earlier in this thread.)

    https://www.fussifreunde.de/spieler/teams.page?id=7691

Still trying to figure out a Google or other search that works efficiently.

A few sites have Burke moving up to the club's second team for 20/21, but I don't have any further info about whether or not he's American. The first team remains in the fourth division for the upcoming season.

T'Markt says he was born in Germany.

Yeah, Hill has been listed on T'Markt (and, I think, some other database sites) as German-American for some time. I've never really looked into it; maybe the person behind that Twitter account has? I do see that he's in the club's first team roster photo for the upcoming season.

I should probably just make a thread for this guy but what the heck... I'm sure by putting it here, someone will easily and quickly find or spot something I didn't, and the matter will be resolved.

    LMU announced recently that:

LMU Men's Soccer's Francis Avoce has signed a professional contract to play for Ayia Napa FC of the Cypriot Second Division.

    https://lmulions.com/news/2020/9/4/...o-contract-with-cyprus-club-ayia-napa-fc.aspx

He clearly spent several years in the U.S., including HS:

    https://lmulions.com/sports/mens-soccer/roster/francis-avoce/10151

But his DA profile says he's Canadian (and a '98):

    http://sacr.ussoccerda.com/sam/teams/index.php?team=1655739&player=79458752

Other links show that he did play in Canada as well as, it seems, some U.S. ODP or ODP-type-stuff, the latter which I don't believe requires citizenship.

    He got some DA accolades:

    https://www.soccertoday.com/2017-u-s-soccer-development-academy-championships/

    https://www.ncsasports.org/mens-soc.../davis/davis-senior-high-school/francis-avoce

I couldn't easily find any YNT stuff for either the U.S. or Canada.

Anyone know this player? @CANPRO perhaps?

Transfermarkt and a couple of other non-definitive sites say Marlon Marishta was born in Chicago. He just joined Bray Wanderers in Ireland's 2nd tier, but the club lists him as Albanian and provides minimal other info.

TM lists 5 U17 caps with Albania and he was in a U19 camp recently.

He does pop up in a Google search as playing with Chicago Magic.

He was previously with Bohemian FC in Ireland.

I've posted about him a couple times in this thread -- have tried loads of searches, and found nothing conclusive. Also wrote to his current and previous club and heard nothing yet... Somebody else, please do better!

Some sites say a guy with French lower-division club named Brad Lalaba is American. I can't find out much about him, apart from that T'Markt's assertion that he was recently with a Danish club was in fact correct. In some places, he's said to have been born in France.

Giulio Misitano seems to be in the youth ranks at Roma, but there is conflicting info about his US citizenship.

Here's the profile at his US club:

    GIULIO MISITANO #16

    PLAYER PROFILE
    Year of Birth: 2005
    Position: Forward
    Hometown: Brooklyn , NY
    Nationality: ITA - Italy

    EDUCATION
    Graduation Year: 2023

    http://oval.ussoccerda.com/sam/teams/index.php?team=3940440&player=265066137

    So, US citizenship not listed.

A couple of different articles that call him Italian-American have conflicting info:

    https://www.ilromanista.eu/news/as-roma/53840/un-americano-a-roma-anche-per-lu15-ecco-misitano

It says: defined the engagement of the fifteen year old Giulio Misitano, born in Brooklyn, but, like his predecessor, of very evident Italian origins (he also already has a passport).

    https://www.gazzettaregionale.it/no...misitano-l-italo-americano-in-prova-alla-roma

The next ones says: Misitiano's family is completely Italian (it is no coincidence that the boy has a double passport), as a child he moved to the USA due to his father's work commitments.

It's certainly possible he is naturalized as a US citizen, there isn't official confirmation that I've found.

Nice find. This old video, which could be posted by a family member, but who knows, calls him an "Italian passport holder," which I would think isn't something you'd say about someone who had that as his only nationality, but, again, who knows.
