Seems like we were just here, but welcome back! Saturday, August 29, 2020 Fixture: Arsenal v. The CHAMPIONS Venue: Wembley Competition: Community Shield Time: 11:30a E / 10:30a C / 9:30a M / 8:30a P TV: ESPN+
Liverpool have had all three of their Premier League fixtures in the first month of the season moved for TV, including their opening-day clash with Leeds. Liverpool vs. Leeds will now be a 5.30pm kickoff on Saturday, September 12, to be shown live on Sky Sports. A trip to Chelsea comes next on Sunday, September 20, at 4.30pm, before the final league game of the month at home to Arsenal on Monday, September 28, with an 8pm kickoff.
Gonna cost me $15 to watch this one game. I never watch anything on SNWorld other than our games, and they won't be showing any more this season. bastards.
Saturday, September 12, 2020 Fixture: THE CHAMPIONS v. (welcome back) Leeds United Venue: Anfield Competition: EPL Matchday 1 Time: 12:30p E / 11:30a C / 10:30a M / 9:30a P TV: NBC
So - games will (mostly) be on NBC again this season...I have "cut the cord" with cable TV, and presently do not have any "connection" to watch NBC - Does anyone have a low cost, simple way to get NBC (preferably without all the other channels that I really don't care about?) I had Sling TV last year...it was an 8/10...I'll do that one again this year if that is the best option...just looking for other's experiences/input...
Double check me, but I believe that Peacock will carry all the NBC and NBCSN games. Cost is $5/mo with limited commercials and $10/mo with no commercials. Has other programming, too. So, just get the 'cock for $5 and you're set.
I got all our games that were carried on the cock oops! Free last season. I watched a few games from across the leagues and replays as well without ads. Sign up for free and see how it goes. Reminds me I have to shut down Plus for a while again.
Peacock (as far as I can tell) will only work with certain TVs. I know for example that there is no app (yet) fro my Samsung Smart TV.... (ignorant b@stards..... what is the point of creating a flippin' TV app that only works fro some tvs?)
I'm thinking that maybe download the PeaCock app - and run the stream through the phone/laptop, and then chromecast it to the SamSung TV ... a guy on Quora seemed to think that will work.... Anyone know if this works? ((APPARENTLY it doesn't - some people in July were reporting blocking of casting by the app) I haven't had the time to test it yet. I have to root out the damn Chromecast that I threw into storage over a year ago when I NO LONGER NEEDED IT!!!! I didn't realize I'd have to become an electronics engineer to watch a fvcking football match?
I might have to break down and buy this gadget. Hooks your iPhone to the TV and keeps your phone charged. Movies or sport. Lightning Digital AV Adapter $49.00 Use the Lightning Digital AV Adapter with your iPhone, iPad, or iPod with Lightning connector. The Lightning Digital AV Adapter supports mirroring of what is displayed on your device screen — including apps, presentations, websites, slideshows, and more — to your HDMI-equipped TV, display, projector, or other compatible display in up to 1080p HD. It also outputs video content — movies, TV shows, captured video — to your big screen in up to 1080p HD. Simply attach the Lightning Digital AV Adapter to the Lightning connector on your device and then to your TV or projector via an HDMI cable (sold separately).
If I recall correctly, you can only watch games live on Peacock? I think they have highlights later but not a replay for those that can't watch the game live for whatever reason. Anyone else know differently?
I think I read that too.... (but don;t take my word for it). Prob they will re-show the bigger games (maybe)...
