Would welcome Donny at Liverpool with open arms, unfortunately there's a bit of a logjam at midfield there. As long as he doesn't go to United or Everton I'll be okay with it. Newcastle is an interesting option since they're going to be putting together a very good team most likely with their cash infusion.
Yeah Newcastle is going to have a huge cash influx mainly because of new billionaire ownership so it only makes sense that Van de Beek would be linked with this club
Ok so Van Ginkel signs a new one year contract with chelsea and its highly likely that he will be rented. Still 27 and could redeem himself and his career including in NT if no further injuries.it has been one hell of road to recovery for him can image the mental stress of going under the knife again and again and then working out for rehabiltation. I hoping he gets back to where he left, hasnt played for few years now but ray of hope for him to get himself up and running and never know what the situation will be come euros. He should come back to PSV. Marseille also will be in champions league next season so worth keeping tabs on strootman. He also hasnt liiked 100% since moving to france but now going into his second season and the Covid break should give him more time to get his fitness level up and regain some of his old form. Koeman also has consistently called him up for NT which shows he his monitoring his development. Lets see if either can make it to the euros.
Klaasen with another fine match for Werder as they win the playoff on away goals and stay up in the Bundesliga for the 57th straight year. they are the current streak holders.
They are two different players. Klaassen is now a deep lying MF, much different from where he played for Ajax. His ball control is much improved but the player he has to beat out is Frenkie who is just much better. Klaassen may prove to be a useful substitute.
No thank you.its time for the young lads.veerman, koopmeiners.if this means switching frenkie to the right.so be it. the bologna contingent as well. Jerdy Schouten.another very underrated midfilder .
Unless something spectacular happens, I don't see Klaassen will be recalled. Van De Beek can be useful sub and I'd like to take Koopmeiners for the midfield spot as well.
Koeman has a sort of triangle midfield setup with Wijnaldum on top, and two deep-lying midfielders on the base. Frenkie occupies one. The other "anchor" has been so far a rotation between De Roon and Propper. De Roon is, given his defensive prowess, is pretty valuable in the squad - especially if the opposing team has a powerful attacking midfielder. I think he will keep his place. Propper is more offensive than De Roon, but overall he's... meh. Van De Beek can drop down, and he could contest this CM spot, particularly if he is bumped out by Mo Ihattaren in the AM position. So I think both Davy and Donny are Klaassen's closest competitors to get a squad number. Frenkie's back-up is Strootman... Stroot brings leadership, maturity and stability. I guess, barring injuries, Koeman will make make a way for Kevin to be included. Which is tough news for Koopmeiners, who's in the mold of Strootman-Frenkie. To sum up.. the midfield pecking order would be something like this. AM: Wijnaldum >> Ihattaren >> Van De Beek CM1: Frenkie >> Strootman >> Koopmeiners CM2: De Roon >> Van De Beek >> Propper >> Klaassen Then there are Fer and Vilhena.... long shot, but who knows.
Here's a cinderella story! Djavan Anderson at 25 earned his first first team spot at Lazio. https://www.bigsoccer.com/threads/watch-list-midfielders-orange-team.2106809/page-5#post-38777280

What about Azor Matusiwa.he is an intresting player given his capabilities but I wonder if he will be recognized playing at Groningen. He is s good DM material or CM if you wanna put it and is mix of both seedorf and davids imo. Maybe not in the scoring department but his breaking down play, interceptions and offensive play from the back is very strong. Closet comparable player would Franck kessie of milan
He put in a transfer request a couple of months ago and Groningen are not honoring it. I wonder if this will impact his play.
His contract runs into 2023, so too long a time to waste as a player or as a club. He hasnot been an Uxx Orange player after the U16.
