Adams on the bench. Naglesman plays all of laimer Sabitzer and Kampl He doesn’t rate Tyler as high. Tyler will need to progress in his final third ability to really make it under naglesman.
If Sabitzer, Laimer, and Kampl are all starting, then I would say Adams is very likely to see action in the 2nd half unless Atletico is crushing RasenBallsport.
Yeah... he should definitely get 2nd half time but IMO it does make him the 3rd CDM on the depth chart... because in the biggest game he starts on the bench. Bummer. Kid needs to step up his game this season and try and lock down the position he looked to have already locked down before he got hurt. Injuries... they are friggin killers.
Or he could just perform as well defensively and in possession as last season pre-injury. Then he'd probably play regardless of his final third ability.
There's no shame in not starting over those guys This is a team contesting for a CL semi final spot, the competition is very high and the margin for error is minimal. They trust him to play important minutes
There is no shame in it... but I would certainly prefer they trusted him enough to start in this one.
Yeah for sure. As long as he's out there to finish the game out Would this be the furthest an American has played in CL? I know Beasley had a deep run, believe PSV reached semis. So guessing it would be the 2nd furthest

Jovan Kirovski actually won the champions league with Dortmund back in the 90s. I’m fairly sure he didn’t play in the finals, although he did make appearances during the campaign and scored 1 goal. I’d actually say that he’s the talisman for the argument that just because you’re playing for a Champions league, Bundesliga, etc quality team, doesn’t automatically mean that you should actually be starting with the NT. He was given a lot of opportunities for the NT, but it turned out we had better options.
I created a match thread - just in case. https://www.bigsoccer.com/threads/a...drid-r-8-13-2020-champions-league-qf.2111018/
Wow, your vision must be superior to everyone. Show us the camera angle where that was off target? it was headed to the bottom left corner. TBF Oblak had it covered, but if it was going wide (doubtful), it was by an inch.
I think it's weird no one here recognizes a bank shot. Have you all not also disappated your youths in the smoky darkness of the parlours of billiard? Did no one else leave their walking around money on the green felt of Jullians? Sometimes I feel I don't know you at all.
hard to imagine a better ambassador for a club or national team than tyler. just a remarkably mature young person.
It looked on target to me too. I guess it could have hit the post... but it was hit well and didn't have the shank spin on it you see when guys hit it wide. It is typical that several members are going to try and take the shine off it. Bit of luck? Yes. Earned... darn right.

Kirovski scored in Group Stage vs Sparta Prague. His goal made in 0-2 in a 0-3 victory for Dortmond. https://www.transfermarkt.us/ac-sparta-praha_borussia-dortmund/index/spielbericht/1069396
They did not have a camera view going vertical. We could only see from the sideline. To me, it looked to be going wide left. The GK made a moderate lunge at it as if he knew it would be wide slightly. In any case, I think that it was not wide enough for them to change it an own goal, assuming they had a camera to see the pitch vertically.
Having seen a vertical view of the play, I definitely saw that it was on target. The significance of the goal is enormous. This goal knocked off the team that knocked off Liverpool. Tyler came in as a defensive replacement because Joao Felix was running wild on his team's left side and set up their goal. Tyler shut him down and took a shot, got a deflection, and that was that.
