No Josh on the games day squad for second week in a row after having featured in scrimmages just prior to restart. So...any info? We know his history. Is it a fitness thing (I hope)?

The 2020/2021 UEFA Champions League first qualifying round draw was this past weekend. Dundalk were drawn against Slovenian champions Celje. This season's Champions League qualifying round matches will be played as single leg ties. This match will played in Budapest on August 19th. @bungadiri @TheFalseNine Joshua "Josh" Gatt at Dundalk F.C. (Ireland)
The Irish healthcare system - if the word is appropriate - isn't a whole lot better. It combines most of the bad points of the UK's (single-payer) NHS with a good few of the American system. It's better than America, as bad as the UK and worse than mainland Europe's
The draw for the second qualifying round of the 2020/2021 UEFA Champions League was today. If Dundalk advance, they will host the winner of Molde vs. KuPS.

He was part of a relentless attack in the second half. According to the Dundalk report, Gatt had a couple of “brilliant” crosses that found a head but the shots were just wide. Glad our boy is healthy and building up his fitness. He has a Champions League qualifier next week!!
Will be interested to see if Josh gets the start today. Dundalk have been building up his fitness with 2nd half sub appearances and he has done well. Let’s see if that warrants a start or super sub selection in second frame!! Lineups soon...
Today, Dundalk were drawn against Andorran champions Inter Club d'Escaldes in the Europa League second qualifying round. The single leg away match will be on September 17th. Gatt has not been in a game day squad since the 14th.

The one good thing about America's healthcare system is the ability to get new cancer treatments, even experimental ones. If you can afford it... And the "UK NHS" needs delineation. Scotland's NHS is far superior to England's and has avoided England's recent NHS regulatory foibles. I hope Gatt has a second career lined up. He probably isn't going to be able to retire off of the wages of an Irish Premier League depth guy...
Yeah, the wages aren't very high. IIRC from a video about Shamrock Rovers v. Bohemians, most guys are semi-pro, or don't have very good wages at all.

In European competition, Dundalk have qualified for the EL group stage and have been drawn in the same group as Arsenal as well as Rapid Vienna and his old side Molde.
Dundalk travels to London to play Arsenal on Thursday, but Gatt hasn't played since September 27. Anyone have any updates on his injury? I assume the news is bad.
Sad to say, Josh has been released by Dundalk. https://thestraightredcardsoccer.wo...UgOenmaK2PXXM4HijFKYsmr5ZfxTvsSAN3YsIrjYCJaDc
