Carlos Mejia has signed with Pumas, he also had interest from Atlanta United before that fell apart due to the Pandemic.

So Carlos will play in the new 2nd Division of Mexico, that’s a better level than 3rd Division or Academy team. This is a good chance for him.

Hajduk Split has been in qualifying rounds for the last 13 Europa Leagues, which were 11 with that title and 2 with the name UEFA Cup. They only made the Group Stage once, which was in 2010-2011. 2019-2020 was the third time in that span that they lost in the qualifying round they started in, and it was worse because they started in QR1 and the previous two losses were in QR3. They were eliminated on away goals by Gzira United of Malta, who ranks 45th of 55 in the country coefficients. From 2014-2015 through 2017-2018, they were eliminated in the Playoff Round (the round before the Group Stage) every time. The aggregates were respectable with a 2-1 loss to Dnipro Dnipropetrovsk from Ukraine, which is a strong league; 2-0 to Slovan Liberec of Czech Republic; 4-3 on penalty kicks to Maccabi Tel Aviv of Israel when each club won 2-1 at home and nobody scored in extra time; and 3-1 to Everton of England. I'm not saying they're better than National, but I'm pointing out that they are regulars in the Europa League, and Dinamo Zagreb dominates the Croatian league making it very hard for any other Croatian club to be in the Champions League qualifying rounds.

If he gets major game time then it would also be a massive benefit to the U23 squad, our CB position there is our weakest. I also wish that Motagua would loan out Wesley Decas if they don’t plan on playing him.

Huesca have been promoted to La Liga, hopefully they give Rubio a chance in pre season to stay.

Either would be a great move. Not sure what Cagliari's like for strikers but last a saw they were a stable mid-table side.

I'm getting slightly frustrated with Elis, I'm not sure what the latest is with his situation? Obviously been a difficult season but he needs to be making that move to Europe soon.

Either of those would be a great move. Last I saw Cagliari were a stable mid-table side, hopefully they're in need of another Striker.

What's the latest with Elis transfer position? It's obviously been a difficult season but he really needs to make that move to Europe soon. I've been a bit disappointed he has stuck around in the MLS this long tbh.

Dynamo have shit ownership, there is nothing left for Elis there and he has made it clear that he will not extend his contract this season.

Dynamo are stupid for not trying to sell him last year because he is going to walk away for free. They had another player Mauro Monatas who also had legit offers from Europe but Dynamo refused to sell him too.

Speaking of Forwards, Junior Lacayo who has one year left on his contract with Olimpia says that he it’s possible that he could make the jump to MLS possibly on a loan deal. He says he has a Green Card so that would make the move easier.

Locayo is still young so maybe that could turn out to be a good move for him but by enlarge this trend of going to play in the MLS is definitely not the way forward.

For our best prospects I agree absolutely, but Lacayo isn’t one of our best imo he should have never left Marathon where he was the 1st option and had just won a championship for Olimpia. Lacayo getting an MLS offer is a blessing to him.

Houston Dynamo are apparenlty scouting Darixon Vuelto.

Italian Sources are saying that Cagliari are officialy offering 1.5 million Euros for Jorge Benguche and other sources are saying that Boavista will not be able to match, so it likely seems that it's between Cagliari and whatever MLS team is willing to pay up.

Houston interest in Darixon Vuelto is real but have yet to make an offer, Vuelto would also be a free transfer.

So both our U23 strikers Darixon/Martinez could be in the MLS.

So in a twist Diez is now reporting that Jorge Benguche is going to Boavista. https://www.diez.hn/liganacionaldeh...ge-benguche-virtual-jugador-boavista-portugal

The article also mentions that the MLS team that wanted him was never in play because they wanted a loan and Olimpia rejected it.

I won't be upset if true, as long as he lands in Europe and Boavista might be the better option for him when it comes to game time.

Boavista is still a great move, perhaps even better as he may get more playing time. Our guys have been doing well in Portugal, Beckeles in particular had a great few seasons with Boavista when he was there.

Main thing is it's not the MLS!
