We're back again to make you all look good and possibly beat our 23pts record for the lowest ever points tally in the Championship, it won't be easy but if anyone can do it we can.

Our first signing is already in the bag, we've signed winger Mickel Miller because he was free and had a nice name.

Seriously though guys, it's good to be back with the big boys no matter how difficult a season we have.

Seriously, though ... what the hell is that? Sounds like it should be on the soundtrack to St Elmo's Fire or something.

I've not seen or really heard of St Elmo's Fire but it is a soundtrack, it's from Auf Wiedersehen Pet, an 80's British series about builders working away in Germany (and later Spain) and the 3rd series was a mix of UK/USA but the first two original series were best. I'd been watching it and got a bit carried away.

Anyway, our second signing is in, Kieran Sadlier from Doncaster.

I'm not very confident but I'm a bit of a pessimist anyway. I didn't think Paul Warne would be able to get us promoted given his lack of managerial experience but he has done, albeit possibly with a bit of luck as our form had dropped off just prior to the season being suspended and some other teams just below us were flying.

I see today's match against Wycombe as a 6-pointer and we couldn't even beat Salford City last week. I fear another long and depressing season. Hopefully I am wrong.

Best of luck today chaps (except if you're a Wycombe fan :D).

1-0 win scored the winner in injury time. That should be good for the old confidence. I think everyone in the division will be expecting to beat Wycombe though.

I watched the highlights earlier we were lucky not to be 2 or 3 down at half time, they missed an open net from about 3 yards and also hit the crossbar.. your standard Championship striker would have almost certainly punished us, still they say it's better to play poorly and win rather than the other way around. We'll need to improve is all I'm saying, can't argue with 3 points though.
