Yep. That’s the position they have earmarked for him. Better than being forced further forward (if he’d stayed in England.)

Of course he'll get games. I just don't think he'll be a starter every time he's fit, and that's no bad thing.

I think Sam Shashoua has still been doing well at his club. But by the sounds of it he missed a penalty in the shootout which means they didn't get promoted via playoffs. But he has another game coming up.

I don't speak Spanish so hard to understand what's going on

Benicio Baker-Boatiye will be at Bayern's training ground tomorrow to possibly sign his contract with them.

Also interesting to see more young Scottish talent sign for Bayern's academy and also 2 are in Man City's new intake.

Not being pedantic but I couldn't care less about Scottish players.

Is this not an odd move as you’d presume he’d want to move to a club with a good pathway for youngsters? Could be another Mavividi transfer and end up in France or similar.

To be fair, it's worked out pretty well for Mavididi so far.

Yeah fair enough but I wonder if that’s more about good fortune than Juventus plotting a development path for him though but saying that off course you need a lot of good luck and the right opportunities to go your way anyway I guess if you’re to succeed.

Danny Loader reportedly moving to Porto on a free.

Not sure it's the greatest move for him as they have a fair few strikers including Fabio Silva at a similar age, who is one of Portugal's biggest prospects.

Potential loan opportunities in Portugal for Villa's youngsters going forward?

I'd be happy with that, always happy to see our young players go abroad. The only problem is it that other than Sancho (and some people say it about him too) it feels like they need to come back to England to gauge how good they actually are/prove themselves. Mount for example had a good season in the Dutch league and then had to have a season in the Championship to prove himself in England. You get the feeling it will be the same for Marcus Edwards.

I wonder if that ownership change was already in the works when Easah SUliman moved between the two clubs at the start of the year.

Stating the obvious here, but if he goes to Bayern and plays then that will be an amazing move for him. If he's just going to be back up then he'd be daft to move there.

Apparently Angel Gomes is on the brink of signing for Lille, who will then loan him to Boavista.

I don't know enough about those clubs to form an opinion. Anyone?

Just a ploy by the Portuguese to tie him to their national team
