I have decided to let go of my original match worn Patrick Bosnia jersey 97-98 (match against Denmark) and I know there is a lot of interest for it. This would look great on someones wall, in great condition. Admins if this is somehow not ok with the forum just delete. https://rover.ebay.com/rover/0/0/0?mpre=https://www.ebay.com.au/ulk/itm/352645965988
I think all of them must have come in that size (we didn’t have all these spares back then) , as you can see from the video the shirts seem large for the players
Brilliant piece by Hemon, should hit home with everyone here 1139115145970556928 is not a valid tweet id
Footage has emerged of Sead Kolasinac fighting off a pair of knife-wielding attackers during an attempted robbery, Mesut Ozil was also involved in the incident. Arsenal have confirmed both players were unharmed.— Sky Sports News (@SkySportsNews) July 25, 2019
If you are a Slavic language speaker, you will understand this completely made-up language. So how do you create a language that can be instantly understood by hundreds of millions of people? Interslavic is even used in movies, like the new Czech war drama The Painted Bird. pic.twitter.com/aDQrqw9ANF— Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty (@RFERL) September 19, 2019
Anyone else planning to travel to Bosnia this summer? I only have US citizenship and according to this article. Bosnia is not one of the countries allowing US tourists. https://www.cnn.com/travel/article/us-international-travel-covid-19/index.html
Anyone interested in joining a Bosnian football community I'm creating with a friend? The community will be a group chat over FB or WhatsApp, nothing too big. Let me know if any of you want to join.
My mom had to cancel her trip twice so far. If you have a Bosnian passport or some type of identification that proves you are a Bosnian citizen you can enter the country, even from the US.
lmao, this dude destroyed celik https://www.klix.ba/sport/nogomet/k...izgled-cesto-vara-to-mi-je-prednost/200816034
No chance you can get in with a US Passport. You need the licna karta or a Bosnian Passport. Maybe you can talk your way in but I would not risk coming here on that.
lmao, they purposely made the dutch soldiers look effeminate and homosexual. I know its a serious movie, but can't help but laugh at this scene
I've head about this movie but haven't seen it yet. Jasmila also did a 2013 movie that relates to Visegrad. It doesn't really get into the brutal history of Visegrad very much but I think every Bosnian should know that history because it has something to teach us beyond 'bad things happened here.' Anyways, for those who want to watch the full movie (For Those Who Can Tell No Tales):
I'll have to check it out. Sometimes, I do wish they made more films that explore the unique sub-cultures within Bosnia and Sarajevo without centering the war, like Ljeto u zlatnoj dolini. Don't get me wrong, its certainly important to document the war and artistically express the suffering the people experienced, but I don't think that should be the entire identity of the country. I think there is a lot of missed opportunities and cool stories that we've lost out on because of the over-emphasis of the war within our identity. Financing is probably another major issue, big-budget movies that include foreign money only greenlight films that focus on the conflict.
On this note, I think it is important the counter culture/balance Bosnia always brought to the former Jugoslavia. It was a place that was always mixed and produced so much talent because of that uniqueness (contrary to Serbia/Croatia). If you look at music groups and comedy, we were untouchable because we answered to no one. Saddest thing about post war is how much that has been diminished.
Cool story about Alphonse Mucho, Czech artist commissioned by the French government to decorate Bosnia-Herzegovina's pavilion at the 1900 World’s Fair in Paris. https://www.rferl.org/a/when-alfonse-mucha-painted-bosnia/30813702.html?ltflags=mailer
This worked for me. Use www.resizepixel.com to compress to 9 KB. Then copy the image into Paint. Click resize and then select pixels. Change the horizontal to about 150. If 150 does not work, go lower.
