According to reports in Portugal, Belenenses of Portugal are interested in signing Jorge Benguche and have been following him for the past months. https://www.ojogo.pt/futebol/1a-lig...-maiores-promessas-das-honduras-12059374.html Reports out of Italy is that Inter will extend Rigo Rivas Contract till 2023. https://www.fcinternews.it/esclusiv...avoro-per-accontentare-rigoberto-rivas-339482
Andy Najar confirms that he will Join LAFC, deal was in place before the Coronavirus epidemic. Michael Chirinos could return to Liga MX, his old coach at Lobos Buap is the new head coach of Mazatlan and he is being rumored as a possible reinforcement. Muma Bernardez states that it's a certainty that Carlos Pineda will go abroad, the options are Spain and Portugal and MLS with Europe being the preferred landing spot.
Rigo Rivas will stay on loan for 1 more year with Reggina who has been promoted to the Serie B. He played 16 games for Reggina and scored 2 goals this season.
Alejandro Reyes will extend his contract with Olimpia for two years with a release clause should an opportunity to go abroad manifests itself.
Choco Lozano scores for Cadiz in 1-1 tie vs Alcorcon. This is his 7th goal of the season leading all forwards and 2nd overall on the team. https://www.diez.hn/legionarios/1388510-498/choco-lozano-gol-cadiz-alcorcon-segunda-division-espana
Bryan Rochez has signed an extension with Nacional for 3 years, Nacional will return to Portugal 1st Division next season.
So we two Forwards that could potentially be starters for their team in first division next season, here is hoping that Douglas Martinez can Establish himself this season for RSL.
CB situation looks quite troubling to me, especially as non of these are the tallest. Any more names? Marcelo Pereira?
Marcelo Pereira, Jonathan Paz, Allans Vargas and Jeffri Flores are all in their Mid Twenties and are all at least 6ft tall which is very good for that position. The first 3 were supposed to the future CB rotation of the NT idk what happened. We might need to experiment with Beckeles at CB too, we don't need him at RB.
Bryan Moya pissed off his agency by signing with an African Team, and Carlos Pineda for whatever reason has decided to renovate with Olimpia despite having a concrete offer from Cancun FC the newly formed Liga MX team. I can understand if Carlos is worried about game time but i hope that he at least was smart enough to have put a release clause in his extension like Reyes did.
Bryan Rochez rejected offers from Croatian team Hajduk Split and Portugal 1st division team Gil Vicente F.C. to stay with National. If those were his options then staying with Nacional was the best move since he is a definitive starter for them and already proved that he can be a goal scorer in 1st division.
Fair enough, still think they'd need to bulk up a bit though. Since the days of loosing Muma and Osman Chavez our centreback pairings have been a bit lightweight and if you look at qualifying for 2018 that cost us. There was at least 3 crucial goals in the final round of qualifying that came from not being able to defend crosses. Costa Rica's Kendal Waston scoring over both legs comes to mind and one of the goals in the Panama away leg.
We don’t really produce those types of players anymore, the last dude like that was Johnny Palacios and while I think he could have made it to the MLS level he was ass for the National team.
Choco Lozano scores game winning goal for Cadiz, his 10th of the season also tying his personal best for the 3rd time in the second division. Cadiz now likely to win the League and win promotion to La Liga.
So I just realized that Huesca the team that owns Jonathan Rubio is currently in 2nd place in Segunda Division, if the can stay there they will automatically get promoted to La Liga. So it’s possible that Rubio could play in La Liga next year, that would be crazy.
He's not exactly killing it at Tondela at the moment. Hopefully he can impress his parent club during pre-season.
Prior to COVID-19 I think Elvin Casildo was breaking out for Olimpia.. Same for Carlos Melendez for Vida.. Gonna be interesting to see what these clubs do now after the economic collapse of LNP.. Marathon talking about going full youth and reserves.
Cadiz has been promoted to La Liga and Lozano confirms that he will stay with the team for 3 more years, now all they have to do is try not to get relegated year one.
Great news for Cadiz and Choco played his part! Especially as he was used as a lone striker. Let's hope that his adventure with them in La Liga is better than with Girona. I've read they're looking to bring in Alvaro Negredo so they'll be competition but he's solidified his role in this team far more.
