Luka Romero (left) with Matias Almeyda, during el Pelado's stint at Quilmes in 2005 Luka was born in November 2004, so he was probably only a few months old at the time of this pic (!) Here he is a few years later with the one and only Lio.... ... and lastly, a shot of him playing beach football with Dani Alves years ago, a day in which the Brazilian told passerbys to take pictures of Luka and not himself Safe to say the kid was surrounded by good company growing up....
Dybala was again pretty good. He was whipping in some beautiful crosses and his goal was great. I just wish he got more chances to shoot and doesn’t have to carry the ball so often. It appears this is a reoccurring theme for Juve coaches. Perhaps this chances if and when Arthur comes to Juve. And what the hell are is Barcelona’s board smoking for swapping Arthur for a 30 year-old Pjanic and getting only 10 mill in return. They seriously value Pjanic at 60ME?

Another great goal for Dybala. Damn it, this should’ve been his summer at the Copa. I guess we will have to wait another year. 1278069826330619905 is not a valid tweet id
Just a quick review of the actuality of our NT players. I'll only mention those that got call ups from Scaloni over the last year. Obviously won't include those that play in Argentina, France or Holland. Current top 5 most in-form players: 1. Dybala - amazing. 2. Ocampos - carries Sevilla's attack hard. 3. Lo Celso - fixed starter for Mourinho. Didn't have a great match today though. 4. De Paul - manages all attack for Udinese. 5. Nico González - tore up Bundesliga 2. Worrying form (number 1 is the worst): 1. Otamendi - a calamity every minute he plays. 2. Lautaro - has scored I think only 2 goals in 2020. 3. Palacios - simply didn't play, season over. 4. Guido Rodríguez - his team is awful but he doesn't stand out at all. 5. Messi - he tries but is aimless in the pitch just like the team.
Well, except Milan in the final... ... but yeah, he's been doing great these last few games vs. Genoa, Lecce
He scored the opening goals, which have allowed the defenses to open up. Not to mention, his last goal before the shutdown was v Inter. His last four have been great goals. RDP picked up two more assists today v Roma. First one, was a bad shot on goal that happened to get to his man and the second, he opened up the defense with a great run. Lautaro has been ass since the return. Perhaps he needs to stop focusing on Barcelona and even stop drinking his Kool-Aid. He’s very talented but perhaps he thinks he’s better than he is. He dives far too much and complains quite a bit. I’m all for passion but the dude thinks he needs to focus on what’s in front of him. Btw. I hope our favorite lepra, @cigar_city is doing well.
Why should he stay put at Mallorca when he can go to Barcelona or Real Madrid and basically become Messi's heir apparent becoming the new face of La Liga by going to either team and becoming a star? He won't be a star at Mallorca
Since restart, Messi has been MoM in every single game. Please don't mistake team form to player form.
Messi is determined not just to win the League but look at this form as you guys head into Copa America
Yes, very true, Messi’s form in June-July of 2020 is going to be a major problem for the 2021 Copa America played in June-July of 2021.
Especially if he stays within this form or even exceeds that carrying Argentina on his back he could single handedly win Copa 2021 for you guys
Because he's 15 and needs to get playing time. He should stay where he is for at least 2/3 years tbh. Then make a move. Far too many young talents are wasted by making a move to bigger teams early. As for Messi playing poorly that's hilariously fake news. Guy is on a 2 man team tbh. Lo Celso on the other hand is the goods. I don't care how Scaloni wants to set up his team GLC should be a staple imo. Better than both no defence Paredes and RDP.
From my point of view, Messi has to change his professional club. Not because Barcelona isn’t good enough for him. But it’s about the natural human’s needs to move away from the comfort zone which would help him to improve his passion & to learn more strategic soccer techniques.
Messi to Man City would be something good to see. That’s the only club I can see him going to. Italy is a long shot, Munich? Meh. City has everything that could help him.
