Yes! He went down the line at the Bernie Rally in Feb(?) and spoke to each and every one of us.

He comes across as very sincere. Unfortunately, Hick just has the name recognition and moneys and removing Gardner is the greatest objective to me.

Colorado Springs is a terrible, terrible place full of terrible, terrible people. It's like a more educated Greeley.

Who will, in all likelihood, vote blue no matter who.

Seriously, I wouldn’t count on EPC to elect Hick. There’s probably more effective areas to campaign in

    2016:

    “Clinton / Kaine Democratic 108010 33.86%

    Trump / Pence Republican 179228 56.19%”

Did Rick Santorum set the record for biggest percentage loss by an incumbent senator at 20%?

Records were made to be broken.

I can't speak for the Springs, but I do know a little about Greeley. I don't know too many Dem candidates that are going to get a lot of support from rank-and-file Dems in Weld County -- let alone in a general election -- on policies that stand so starkly against the extraction industries.

Democrats across Colorado aren't exactly a homogeneous group, so the ones that usually end up getting nominated -- and lately, winning statewide office -- are the ones that can thread the "progressive, but TOO progressive" needle. So you end up with two terms of John Hickenlooper as governor and Michael Bennet winning two Senate elections and Jared Polis winning the governor's election in 2018.

Yeah, it's better than the McSally ad, which is a generic attack ad. This one is more specific and thus more powerful.

The ironic thing about it is that Greeley is run in a manner that is closer to the way that Messrs. Parker and Stone think that society should be run, and yet... they wouldn't be caught dead there.

In conclusion, ******** Trey Parker and Matt Stone, who belong with Elon Musk and Scott Adams in the "shitty people who had one good idea in the '90s and have been riding it for 25 years" category.

Lindsay Graham would not be calling for older Republican-leaning judges to retire if Lindsay Graham believed Republicans would have a majority in the Senate in February 2021.

Even more, he does not think there will be a Republican in the White House in January, 2021.

Yes, but the key phrase you post is "on the way out." We have to keep that as a focus.

They can only do so much damage on the way out, and most of that damage (other than RBG dying and being replaced by another Bret Kavanaugh) can be undone.

So many of us, you being a prime example (even way more than me), are/were not in favor of Joe Biden's candidacy and ascension as the nominee, but the reality is what it is.

Our "job" now is to make sure that White House AND the Senate flip.

If we can flip a few state legislatures/governors along the way, that would be even better.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2006_United_States_Senate_election_in_Pennsylvania says Santorum lost by 17.3 percent. In 2010 in Arkansas, Republican John Boozman defeated Democratic incumbent Blanche Lincoln by 21.1 percent. Four years later, Republican Tom Cotton defeated Democratic incumbent Mark Pryor by 17.1 percent. I wonder if there were any other times when a state had one party have both seats and had incumbents lose by at least 17.1 percent two or four years apart depending on when the seats were up. I checked back to 1998, and I didn't find any incumbents who lost by more than Lincoln in 2010.

A similar question is who won by the most before losing the next time. In 2010 in New Hampshire, Republican Kelly Ayotte won by 23.5 percent and then lost to then-governor Maggie Hassan by 0.14 percent in 2016. Susan Collins won by 37.0 percent in 2014, so if she loses that will be a much bigger than Ayotte's.

Today was the filing deadline in Wyoming, where Republican Mike Enzi is 76 and is retiring after four terms. Wikipedia lists 11 Republicans and 6 Democrats running. The primaries are on August 18. Next week has filing deadlines in Alaska and Kansas on Monday, and a big Tuesday. Idaho, Iowa, Montana, New Mexico, and South Dakota have primaries, and Minnesota has its filing deadline. South Dakota is the only one of the five that allows runoffs, but Republican incumbent Mike Rounds has one primary challenger, Scyller Borglum, while Dan Ahlers is the only Democrat, and Clayton Walker is the only independent. Since there won't be any primaries with more than two candidates, there won't be any primaries where the winner doesn't get a majority. Republican incumbent Steve Daines and Democrat Steve Bullock are expected to win in Montana, but we will find out for sure. Iowa Republican Joni Ernst doesn't have a primary challenger, and we'll see which of four Democrats advances to a general election a Democrat could win. Idaho Republican Jim Risch doesn't have a primary challenger, and there are two Democrats. Representative Ben Ray Lujan is the only Democrat running to keep a seat in New Mexico, where Tom Udall is the only Democratic incumbent who is retiring. Three Republicans are running. Lujan won by 32.2 percent in 2018, so the House seat should be safe, and seven Democrats are running. Iowa's House primaries are important as all four districts are among the 88 (20.2 percent) of districts that are not safe. Three districts have Democrats, but all of those districts voted for Trump, and my mom has a Democratic friend since age 5 and her husband in District 2, where Democrat Dave Loebsack is retiring. Because they moved, this couple has their incumbent retire twice in a row. White supremacist Steve King, who is in District 4 with a Cook PVI of R+11, had his margin decrease from 22.6 percent in 2016 to 3.3 percent in 2018. Both seats in Idaho and South Dakota's at-large representative are Republican incumbents who should win. Montana Republican Representative Greg Gianforte is trying to gain the open governor's seat, and six Republicans and two Democrats are running in the House primary. The Democrats have all three House seats in New Mexico, and District 2 is the Republicans only chance to get a seat back. It has a Cook PVI of R+6, and Democrat Xochitl Torres Small won 50.9 percent to 49.1 percent in 2018 when Republican incumbent Steve Pearce left to run for governor. I wonder if Xochitl is the only first name of a Congressperson ever to start with "xo" and end with "tl."

What a shock. Brian Kemp lied two days before the elections in 2018 when he accused the Ga democratic party of hacking the voter registration system. The Mofo should resign or be impeached.
It was a clear and deliberate plot to undermine Stacy Abrams. Clear act of election fraud and abuse of power. We know nothing will happen though......

Atlanta Journal Constitution: “It was a stunning accusation: Two days before the 2018 election for Georgia governor, Republican Brian Kemp used his power as secretary of state to open an investigation into what he called a “failed hacking attempt” of voter registration systems involving the Democratic Party.”

“But newly released case files from the Georgia Bureau of Investigation reveal that there was no such hacking attempt.”
