Great line-up this will be a really close match.

some things i would like to add up.

My team defensively will have almost the same approach as always....Sammer droping back infront of that back line to help with defensive duties. As you dont have a AM he would be free to help cover the likes of Maradona and Romario.

Seedorf on the other hand with his box to box qualities will be the one pressuring Bobby charlton which in my opinion will feel like a fish out of water in that double pivot position.

Fachetti and Neeskens will have more of a zonal marking helping to cover Maradona and Rivaldo while also tracking any movements by Thuram or Cabrini....and make sure with their quality and speed to launch quick counter attacks.

    Offensively

Even tho we are playing away from home my team will make sure that when we have the ball we don't get scared we push forward, pressure upfront and try to gain attacking opportunities

We will do so by playing a strong 3-1-4-2

Cannavaro-Krol-Schnellinger and Sammer will be the ones making the sacrifice and staying back to cover the attacking trio (to avoid counters) while Fachetti and Neeskens press forward...attacking the flanks aggressively opening the defense, they have the quality, the experience, the speed and the ability to do so without any problems

Klinsmann will stay in the box looking for that mistake in defense to capitalize and score... Pele with freedom as usual moving outside the box trying to get Ayala or Scirea out of position and to combine with Didi (as they have always done). Didi on the other hand will not get into physical battles with Davids he will move the ball quick and try to create opportunities.

And for me the most important player in this match will be clarence SEEDORF a complete box to box midfielder...he will be pressuring the ball out of Charlton and he will be attacking behind his back. i have a lot of respect for Bobby charlton hes an amazing attacking midfielder with a lot of quality but hes not the strongest defending...and with the stamina, speed, quality of Seedorf he's gonna have a LOT of problems catching up, giving Seedorf a lot of space to do what he does best

And for a little bit of banter Seedorf told me to tell Buffon: "Wake Up, Daddy's home"

Formation 4-3-3. Style High possession, fluid and expressive beautiful football. South American skill and flair, united with European steel and efficiency.
    Player Roles
VAN DER SAR, Edwin (GK - Sweeper-keeper)
ZAMBROTTA, Gianluca (RB - complete fullback)
STAM, Jaap (CB - complete centreback)
NESTA, Alessandro (CB - complete centreback)
ROBERTO CARLOS (LB - attacking fullback)
KEANE, Roy (DM - defensive midfielder)
ESSIEN, Michael (CM - complete box to box midfielder)
ZICO (AM - playmaking/goalscoring attacking midfielder)
GARRINCHA (RW - right wing forward)
    MESSI, Lionel (F9 - False #9)
RONALDINHO (LW - inverted playmaking winger)

Captain Roy KEANE. Freekicks ZICO, Lionel MESSI, RONALDINHO. Penalties Lionel MESSI. Corners Lionel MESSI, RONALDINHO, ZICO.

    Key tactical advantages:
    - Laudrup/Figo in the central areas are highly technical, but won't be able to match the physical dominance and aggressive workrate of Keane/Essien. Figo and Laudrup will look to naturally go wide, leaving Vieira more exposed and one-on-one with Zico. Keane will always receive defensive support from Essien.
    - Our fullbacks have strong defensive cover/protection/support from the coverage of both Essien and Keane.
    - The spaces outside and behind Zambrotta and Roberto Carlos won't be penetrated/exposed as Laudrup/Puskas will naturally move inside, where Nesta/Stam/Keane/Essien await.
    - Messi will drop deep and pull Costacurta out of his defensive line, creating space for Garrincha to cut inside/and for Zico to run into.

    - Rijkaard box to box vs Matthaus.
    - Zidane vs Busquets.
    - Eusébio of second striker going back a lot to receive the ball.

    Czibor has muscle overload

    I will play 4-2-2-2

My fullbacks (Andrade and Evra) going to attack for open spaces, they will attack interspersed, when one of them attack, the other stay in defense. If we don’t have the ball, Socrates move down to form a line of 3 in the midfield.

In defense, Nasazzi play on the left to help with the ball exit, meanwhile in my right defense, Andrade and Bozsik will help in this point. If you have any doubt about position of Nasazzi, you can red this article of argentine magazine “El Gráfico”: “(…) in the 1930 World Cup he played left back and also attacked firmly…” link: https://www.elgrafico.com.ar/articulo/1088/19456/20-laterales-que-hicieron-historia

Monti play in the left side of my team for support Evra's defense.

I think that with this square in the midfield (Monti, Bozsik, Socrates and Di Stefano), I can win the middle and the possession of the ball. In attack, I use 2 complemented strikers, Etoó is fast, laborious and strong and Kocsis is opportunistic, agile and excellent aerial game, both had a scoring career.

@heroearaucano has around 12 hours to publish his team as visitor.
Then @Tom Stevens will have about 36 hours more to publish his own as local.

I don't know what happened, my tactical notes were not published.
I'll soon copy them again @OT_CAPITANO.

To face @OT_CAPITANO I go with a type of 3-4-3 system with advanced side-backs:

Defensively I put a 3-men line with Ayala and Ramos as the regular centre-backs, but this time with Scirea taking the role of libero ahead of both for the anticipation and interception of the rival attacks (especially those looking for Pelé) and serve as deep organizer shortening meters with the midfield.

I hope I can limit rival attacks to long-shots testing Buffon's excellent positioning.
Thuram and Cabrini will play in an advanced position to prevent the projection of Facchetti and Neeskens with a high mark and keep the rival attack centralized, in addition to being able to join the attack by pressing on the same rivals and combining for the opening of spaces with their trequartistas pairs on their sides (Cabrini with Rivaldo and Thuram with Maradona). I think this pressure could pull the marks of the rival stoppers and give Romário spaces for sneaky incomes and first-touch definitions.

Offensively, how Maradona could influence as a wide attacking player from right making the cut with his left foot I think can be so devastating to open ways or have that rival sector very worried, even trying to populate densely.

Supported by Scirea's meter coverage, the midfield will be made up of Davids as dynamo for deployment and recovery by all sectors thanks to his huge stamina, while Charlton will play as an attacking box-to-box midfielder using his hard-working for support the defensive system from the middle sector, but mainly to put pressure on Seedorf and Sammer, contain the Dutch attacking and open even more spaces for Maradona (always with an eye on long-shots, a specialty of English).

I have removed the starting to Meazza, because he does not contribute goals and the defeats are incomprehensible.

The deadline for @Tom Stevens to publish his lineup has ended several hours ago.

I've consulted with his rival, @heroearaucano, and he agrees to face his default team with the change of Vierchowod instead of the banned Charles.
