I'm thinking about getting Fox Soccer Match Plus for a month. They will televise all 9 Bundesliga games this week plus ample games from the second division. My question is how long after the game ends will the replays be available? The Saturday games are on at 6:30am PST. Will the replays be available minutes after the games end? I don't want to purchase this if I have to wait hours before the replays are available.
Keep in mind that Fox Soccer Match Pass ends at the end of June. https://worldsoccertalk.com/2020/04...match-pass-streaming-service-is-shutting-down I'm surprised Fox Soccer Plus hasn't died off yet. Most of that stuff could probably find a home on FS2.
Yes I heard that. I just want it for the rest of the german league which should be concluded before late June. Do you know the answer to my question? I emailed FOXSOCCERMATCHPLUS but they have not responded.
So it'll cost me $30 to get Fox Soccer Plus for the rest of the Bundesliga season? Seems like quite the ripoff! But I guess we don't know how many matches FS 1/2 will show each round since the schedule isn't confirmed beyond this weekend.
Correct it was a typo mistake on my part. It should read FoxSoccerMatchPass. Does anyone have the answer to the replay question? On Saturday when the first group of 5 games end how long before they are offered on replay? On FUBO they are available within 5 minutes. ESPN + about 10-15 minutes.
Going by memory, I think the replays used to be up shortly after the games were over. But this was when Fox used to have Champions League, Europa League, FA Cup, etc. I doubt many here have been subscribed to Fox Soccer Match Pass for a while given their current offerings at the same price (actually more expensive, given they used to have frequent Groupons).
Wait as long as you can to actually subscribe - there's a nonzero chance that too many players test positive today and they push all games back (everyone pray that this doesn't happen).
When you sign up you get a 7-day free trial, so no risk there (unless you forget to cancel) I've gotten the free trial a couple of times this season, all you need is an email address you haven't used before with them.
If there’s anything positive to come from the current situation that we’re in it’s that we’re getting Phil Bonnie on commentary and not Ian Joy doing a very low rent Andy Gray impression. Also no sign of Alexi Lull-ass in lederhosen yucking it up with a beerstein.
I actually signed up so now I know the answer. Once the game ends the replay is available immediately. One thing that I don't like is last week they had every Bundesliga game on plus all the games from the second division. For this upcoming week they are only showing one of the five Bundesliga Saturday games. Not sure if this is common but for some reason I thought they made available every Bundesliga game. Overall the quality was pretty good and the only complaint I have is the second division games don't post the score. Not once is the score ever put on the screen.
Are the Bundesliga 2 matches still with no commentary and no graphics? Makes it hard to half-watch the matches especially now with no crowd present.
Yes no commentary, no graphics, and no score, It makes it impossible to fast forward the game because you might miss some goals. It also appears that only 1 of the 5 bundesliga games will be available this Saturday. This is not the way to pull in new viewers.
30 minutes before 4 of the early games start and now the website is showing that all of the Bundesliga games will be available today. I contacted their website a couple of days ago and they said that only one of the five games today would be available. So that's great news that all of today's games will be available but it's asinine that the people that actually work for this company were unaware that the games would be available.
Welcome to fox’ shitty job of using the content that it has. And if you think that is bad then you must not forget that this is the time of year that Bein would start not showing end of season important matches in favor of motocross races. The faster all of the european leagues end up on espn+ the better for all of us.
So are we listening to the international broadcast team on FS1/2 now? Commentators seem quite decent, and the crowd and other background noise also is at the right volume level.
Yes Fox is going bare bones, pure international feed (not even adding any of their own graphics like scores of other matches which they used to do on the FS1 telecasts), the way nature intended.
Sirius XM has been airing English language radio coverage of these Bundesliga ghost games. Professional quality stuff with Andy Brassell involved on the commentary. I've never heard it before and assume Sirius will quit airing it when the Premier League returns.
So they are showing 2 dead rubbers instead of one of the matches that means something on the final day? Classic Fox...
Unless I overslept and missed them (I don't really pay too close attention to German soccer), nothing was on FS1, FS2 or broadcast Fox. Fox Deportes is currently showing Mainz vs Leverkusen.
Luckily the fox football voyage looks to be over. Oh wait there’s just the small matter of the next 2 world cups . Thank god for “other options”
There's also the tiny matter of Fox Soccer Plus, still available on some providers for $15/mo. Some lucky people might be able to get it on a sports tier.
