    Here we open the 7th Round of the Tournament.

    [IMG]
    This is the fixture:

    GROUP A

    @thebigman vs. @tLB Odiseo
    @Diez vs. @poetgooner
    @JJMM1 vs. @msioux75

    GROUP B

    @Tom Stevens vs. @heroearaucano
    @Perú FC vs. @OT_CAPITANO
    @La-Máquina vs. @PDG1978

    Steps to follow:

    * First, all visitors must ban an opposing player (that player won't be able to participate).
    (@tLB Odiseo, @poetgooner, @msioux75, @heroearaucano, @OT_CAPITANO and @PDG1978)
    The maximum period for banning will be 24 hours from this publication.

    * Second, all locals also must ban an opposing player.
    (@thebigman, @Diez, @JJMM1, @Tom Stevens, @Perú FC, @La-Máquina)
    The maximum period for banning will be 24 hours from the opposite ban.

    * Third, after both bans are done, all visitors must publish in this thread their lineups and may add tactical indications about their ideas for the proposal.
    The maximum period to submit your lineups will be 48 hours after having established all the bans (of all matches).

    * Fourth, all locals must publish their lineups and may add their own tactical indications.
    The maximum period to submit your lineups will be 36 hours after the visitor's publication.

    * Fifth, in the next 24 hours any of the participants may add new indications, tactical clarifications, player analysis, etc. The thread will be open to everyone's opinion in any match.

    * Sixth, I will announce the opening of votes. These should be sent to me via PM. I'll send mine to my rival in this round, so you can confirm it in the vote count (I'll try to do it before everyone to avoid suspicion).

    My formation for this match will be a 3-4-1-2

    [IMG]

    strong line of 3 with Neeskens and Fachetti as wingbacks who will help in defense when we dont have the ball and help offensively to open up the field and give width to our attack

    Sammer will be the DM with Didi controlling the tempo and moving the ball...Seedorf will have a more offensive role then usual he will come deep to receive the ball and play at the 3/4 of the field looking for that pass to setup Pele and Klinsmann... long shots might also be an option

    Klinsmann as a 9 in the area moving all over the place looking for spaces and Pele has TOTAL FREEDOM...this team is build to give him total freedom to move, received the ball, attack, create, and score.

    Line-up for Matchday 7 fixture vs @La-Máquina (away)
    1: Peter Shilton; 2: Jorginho, 6: Alessandro Costacurta, 16: Fernando Hierro, 3: Bixente Lizarazu; 4: Patrick Vieira; 17: Luis Figo, 18: Michael Laudrup; 11: Brian Laudrup, 10: Ferenc Puskas; 9: Ronaldo
    PDGvsLa-Maq(a).png
    Captain - Hierro
    Penalty taker - Puskas
    Direct free-kick takers - 1st choice Figo, alternative choice Hierro
    Indirect free-kick and corner takers - 1st choice Figo, alternative choice B.Laudrup

    Tactical approach
    We set up in a fluid 4-3-3 formation, with the aim of playing a precise but fast paced possession game, constantly looking to break through the lines of the opposition with slick ball control and intuitive passing that combines as well as possible team play that runs like clockwork with individual flair and ambition. We also aim to have our players moving around in the opponents half when we break forwards or put together an intricate passing move, but we will try to form more of a reliable shape when in our own half defending an opposition attack. The wings will be used as much as possible, and Brian Laudrup will particularly look to make repeated use of an advanced position on the right wing, though sometimes Figo will look to overlap there or become available in the inside right channel. The general aim in midfield is to get the ball down and play it between our players, progressively when there is a good opportunity for a break at speed, or more patiently in triangles but still with a good sharp speed when we are constructing a move or simply keeping possession. We'll try and get players in behind La-Maquina's midfield so that we can overload the defence, and release Ronaldo and Puskas for good opportunites, but will also play in front of La-Maquina's midfield with a keep ball approach at times. In both instances we prefer not to receive fouls but trust the referee would take action on opposition midfielders as and when necessary. Ronaldo won't initially play on the last line of defence very much, but will try to get in place to receive the ball where he can run with it. Occasionally a through ball, slid by Michael Laudrup or a colleague from the midfield, will be aimed with the view of Ronaldo speeding onto it and away from the central defenders. Puskas plays freely from the left, often going into the penalty area but also being available to combine with outside it.

    Defensively we are to aim to block off the route to goal with concentrated play and discipline. Vieira is to have in mind that he should be looking to disrupt the flow of the ball between Zico and Messi, assuming both play. He is also encouraged to make block tackles on them when he can, and clean slide tackles with his long reach as and when it seems like one of them is escaping his attention (to retrieve the ball from them or at least put it out of play). On this occasion Hierro is the one to hang back a bit behind Costacurta in general, so Costacurta will mainly be the one looking to shadow Messi and stop him having things too easy when the ball does get to him, while Hierro should always be available to step in behind him. We're not expecting a second AM to play, or La-Maquina's CMs to be making lots of forward runs, although wouldn't be unhappy with the game taking that pattern because the space for Figo and Michael Laudrup to advance should only increase, and in general we'd welcome an open end-to-end game if it turned out that way (and we'd adjust our game so as not to play so much possession football in triangles - the players just instinctively adjust in this way but we've talked about it in the pre-match pep talk). For this reason we'd also be ambitious in the early stages because an early goal could make La-Maquina's players feel they need to take more risks with forward runs and numbers going forwards. Jorginho and Lizarazu know they have jobs to do, primarily in opposing Garrincha and Ronaldinho (though Vieira is reminded that his long legs and impressive tackles will be useful anytime Ronaldinho cuts inside towards the area), and will play largely as away game full-backs, leaving most of the attacking to those ahead, but at the right moments they can contribute in the opposition half as the game develops.

    With my opponents right back out and a cb playing there we will overload the left

    Ronaldo comes inside and Cole overlaps for byline crosses

    kroos is a dlp with falcao pushing the ball forward with it at his feet and iniesta provides elite creativity at the top, left to right and from central positions
    Cafú and best play the classic winger and wingback overlapping play and best has license to come inside

    my cbs are the usual, Adams is a stopper and Moore is my sweeper and ball player

    greaves is a poacher looking for chances and runs from the wide players

    we aim to keep possession of the ball as his team is more athletic but we are more technical
