I doubt that the Champions League Qualification is decided before Bayern plays against Hoffenheim (28.03.20).Hoffenheim isn`t a poor club but they have a different philosophy. Instead of buying good players from other clubs their success is built on good youth teams and a strong second team which plays in the 2.Bundesliga. Wolfsburg-Potsdam 5:1(3:1) Pajor(1,87),Harder(11),Popp(14),Jakabfi(80) - Prasnikar(12) Essen-Hoffenheim 3:2(2:1) Schüller(19,82),Ostermeier(26) - Waßmuth(12),Beuschlein(90+2) Freiburg-Duisburg 2:2(2:1) Starke(20),Sanders(32) - Morina(3),Halverkamps(90+1) Bayern-Sand 3:1(2:1) Damnjanovic(18),Leupolz(41),Boye Sörensen(79) - Hoppius(42) Frankfurt-Leverkusen 3:1(2:0) Freigang(4,12(p)),Martinez(83) - Nikolic(65) Köln-Jena cancelled Bayern II-Bielefeld 3:3(1:1) Rolser(42),Pfluger(77(p)),Donhauser(80) - S.Grünheid(32,67,90) DFB-Pokal Quarterfinal draw Leverkusen-Hoffenheim Gütersloh-Wolfsburg Bielefeld-Sand Potsdam-Essen
Thanks for posting! I saw both of HOF’s recent losses, and it seems like either the currently injured, Dongus, was a monster at defensive mid, or the coach’s tactics spread out his players too much, or his back line were a step too slow, but they got promptly slaughtered at counters. Giving up 8 goals in two games was way too much & me remember last fall when at their peak they beat Essen, 7-1. Bayern Munich might play at a slow, uninspiring pace, but they boast 13 current or former German NT’s plus 6 internationals. Too them, injuries mean nothing, or easily replaceable. HOF would not only have to beat them but keep the score lines pretty high for goal differences Noticed too, HOF’s poor performance cost their players chance as NT coach skipped them(all except for Lotwein ) on her selections for the upcoming Algarve Cup.
It could be an advantage for Hoffenheim that Bayern has to play the Champions League games against Lyon (25.3 and 1.4) before and after the game against Hoffenheim. Bayern has still to play against Wolfsburg and also difficult away games in Potsdam and Essen. The remaining games of Bayern and Hoffenheim: Bayern: Duisburg(A),Hoffenheim(H),Potsdam(A),Jena(H),Köln(A),Wolfsburg(H),Essen(A) Hoffenheim: Freiburg(H),Bayern(A),Leverkusen(H),Sand(A),Duisburg(H),Frankfurt(H),Potsdam(A)
Pauline Bremer just signed with Wolfsburg for next season. She was burning up the scoreboard for Man City, until the coach decided to bench her the returning ENG NT striker, Ellen White. Question would be; will she ever start for WOB?(since they big goal scorers all ready in Harder & Pajor)
Kellermann said they wanted her as an attacking allrounder and because of her mentality. Maybe this means that she doesn`t complain if she sits on the bench
Bundi scores just in, add Potsdam 1, Essen 0 from last Friday Summary - Frauen Bundesliga - Germany - Results, fixtures, tables and news - Women Soccerway once again Wolfsburg blows out the competition, Hoffenheim back on track with their impressive win, though still one point behind Bayern Munich who got a tie vs lowly ranked Duisburg alongside BM, the other unispiring team seems to be Freiburg(curtretnly in #8 place), which got two current NT starters in Buhl & Frohms, Former NT's in Starker Lotzen & Kayicki(all fwds), Several that were prominent youth players in Knaak, Sanders, Beck, Schiewe, & even a current Japanese NT in Naomoto
DFB website has different scorers in 3 games. Potsdam-Essen 1:0(0:0) Mesjasz(73) Köln-Frankfurt 1:4(1:0) Tietge(14) - Reuteler(58),Freigang(62p),Dunst(65),Nüsken(73) Jena-Wolfsburg 0:6(0:4) Harder(6p),Jakabfi(8,37),Pajor(28,57),Wolter(75) Sand-Leverkusen 1:0(1:0) Blagojevic(18) Duisburg-Bayern 2:2(1:1) Halverkamps(6),Wu(87) - Leupolz(11),Debitzki(67OG) Hoffenheim-Freiburg 4:1(2:0) Rall(36),Billa(37),Waßmuth(86),Beuschlein(90+4) - Kayikci(74) Bielefeld-Ingolstadt 0:1(0:0) Budnick(89) Surprising result from 2.Bundesliga:Last place Frankfurt II beats Meppen 8:0. Naomoto is back in Japan because she needs more playing time to have a chance to be nominated for the Olympic Games.
here's highlights of Bayern Munich's tie with Duiseburg while BM's over inflated squad keeps them going when too many injuries hamper other teams, it still has it's cons. Yesterday's lineup is an perfect example; as they try to balance playing time, they rested arguably their two best mids in Magull & Dallmann, as well as their top defender in Wenninger. Rotating lineups also hurts you in the chemistry s badly needed & thus they loose two points MSV Duisburg vs. Bayern München - 1 March 2020 - Women Soccerway
The only Bundesliga game planned for this weekend Köln-Jena has been cancelled. The 2.Bundesliga games have also been cancelled at least until 26th March.
Klara Bühl will likely leave Freiburg and join Bayern. https://www.kicker.de/774253/artikel/auf_dem_sprung_zum_fc_bayern_buehl_verlaesst_freiburg_
Do you know the transfer fee? I suppose Oberdorf is next, but honestly, I feel it’s the wrong way of doing things especially in woso when more than half your NT is on the same, over stuffed club. I mean, except for Wolfsburg, what competition do they have now in the rest of league when they get much stronger while the clubs they steal from get weaker? Now 10 of the 11 teams BM will be facing will just park the bus, how your suppose to improve when your reduced to just playing half the field while winning games, 11-0? sorry on the long rant but Buhl has the ability to become Germany’s best striker since Birgit Prinze was in her prime(so maybe 2007). But now we got to worry that she along with Schuller will become as complacent as those Lyon players who despite all their CL trophies, failed to impress in the last WC & Euro. the article all stated that current starting NT/GK, Frohms, got bought by Eintracht Frankfurt. How are they going to make their way into the Bundi 1st division when they haven’t qualified for it?
Sorry, I have no information about the transfer fee. Like Oberdorf`s possible move to Wolfsburg it is not official yet. Bühl has a contract in Freiburg until 2021. It would be indeed bad for the Bundesliga if all talented players would play at Wolfsburg or Bayern. Next season 1.FFC Frankfurt will join Eintracht Frankfurt as their women`s football department. They will play as Eintracht Frankfurt in the Bundesliga.
Wolfsburg as well, by next season they’ll have almost their entire NT’s front line; BM with Schüller & Buhl/WOL with Popp, Huth & Bremer. BM by next season will have 14 either current or former German NT’s on the squad plus 7 international’s(though their not nearly as good as WOL’s superstars, Harder & Pajor)
DFL (responsible for 1.Bundesliga and 2.Bundesliga (men)) will pay every club from 3.Liga (men) and 1.Bundesliga (women) 300000€. Clubs who have a team in the 1. or 2.Bundesliga (men) are excluded. Essen, Potsdam, Frankfurt, Sand, Duisburg and Jena will get the 300000€.
This is getting ridiculous; now Marina Heggering has just signed with Bayern Munich. This means they’ve added 3 current German NT’s & 1 Swede NT named Glas while just loosing one(Leupolz) and they still got all the way to go to the final August transfer deadline. I’ve capitalized the current GE NTs while also adding the former ones(though some still could return) to what so far will be BM’s next season HEGGERING BENKARTH HENDRICH GWINN SIMON DALLMANN MAGULL LOHMANN SCHULLER BUHL Lauhder Demann Schweers Rolser Islacker not an phenomenal top quality out of the 7 foreigners, though Beerensteyn(started in the WC final) and then of all things; we don’t even know for sure if BM is going to make it into next season’s Champions League as their currently one point ahead of Hoffenheim while still have to play Wolfsburg(HOF’s already taken their obligatory two losses to them)
Wolfsburg getting Oberdorf is pretty interesting... but I still don't understand MVT's reasoning for playing Oberdorf as a CB when she's got all the qualities to become the best CM the women's game has ever seen. As a Bayern fan I'd love to see her come to Bayern but Buhl joining would be a huge plus Too bad that Leupolz is leaving but that was expected
MVT been very consistent now with the 4-3-3(she’s used it every post WC game)She’s used nothing but forwards upfront(Buhl, Popp. Huth, Schüller, Bremer, Petermann and even Knaak & Starke started when Huth was injured. So the mid only got 3 available openings which you all ready got Marozsan, Dabritz, Magull, Dallmann, & Leupolz battling for starting spots. MVT desperately wants Oberdorf to start. Apparently she don’t care for Elsig & her bud, Hegering was a disaster at the WC quarters. She’s looking for an attacking CB, rather than someone that can actually defend well. In that regard Oberdorf fills the bill
11 of the 12 Bundesliga clubs have voted for a continuation of the Bundesliga season. 1.FC Köln was the only team with an abstention. Now we have to wait until May 6th for the political decision concerning sports. https://www.dfb.de/news/detail/vere...iga-sind-fuer-fortfuehrung-der-saison-215245/
Considering that the U.S. states are individually opening again in the next few weeks, don't be surprised many other countries especially in Europe will do so as well. Some countries didn't even have a shut down either. Course thats different depending of the seriousness on the infection in that country.
Germans are the first to know what to do with those closed stadiums Soccer Fans Put Cardboard Cutouts of Themselves in Stands | Time in the meantime, Bayern Munich shoves it in everybody's face with it's cutsy vid on the Klara Buhl signing Klara Bühl on Instagram: “♦️ NEW CHAPTER ♦️ Nach 6 tollen Jahren bei den @sc_freiburg_frauen werde ich ab dem Sommer für die @fcbfrauen auf dem Platz stehen. Für mich…”
Clever, too bad they don't put out their own audio. Singing and shouting as well. Just put it on the stadium speakers.
