NYT: FIFA Officials Indicted in Corruption Case

Things seem to have been ticking over very slowly, but now at last well-known FIFA crooks (including Leoz, Teixeira, and Warner) have been named as receiving bribes for voting for the Russia and Qatar World Cups.

Will be interesting to see FIFA's reaction to this. Before it was just taking bribes - now it is specifically aligned to payments for votes. Nothing will happen as FIFA already said it is a victim of individuals' behavior and has already sanctioned those responsible. Russia and Qatar continue to deny, deny, deny.

I liked the original BBC article reference to Infantino getting the "Order of Friendship" medal from Putin after the World Cup.
