No one disputes this Correct, the first person that should have dismissed this out of hand was .................Benz, he took a different route
Again, he and Giroud have something personal going on. Giroud publically supported a Benzema ban because he obviously saw an opportunity for himself. I don't mind Benzema slandering him considering Giroud saw a chance to slander Benzema when he was at his lowest point. When Giroud cheated on his wife Benzema didn't go out there and talk about it. On the other hand Giroud opened his dumb mouth about something he wasn't involved in.
Giroud’s greatest accomplishment is not winning a World Cup, but getting people to think he’s near the same level as Benzema.
Some of the more elaborate fake quotes doing the rounds... https://t.co/vw4toBo2H4— Samuel Marsden (@samuelmarsden) March 31, 2020 everyone on the Messi side says the quotes are fake.— Samuel Marsden (@samuelmarsden) March 31, 2020
Every day i see a doomsday scenario for football, and i just wonder. It's interesting to see people that invested in the money involved in the business rather than the sport. What's Messi, Ronaldo or Dani Carvajal going to do? Get up and change their profession? Football, basketball, baseball, hockey and the NFL are going to be around as long as people find the game entertaining. If we had professional sport post orld war, you can bet we'll have professional sport post covid-19. So really, what's all the fuss about?Yes, some people will lose money, but there are businesses that will find themselves rethinking their entire business model after this. Sports is pretty straight forward to me.
There is huge need for reform. Again, i just don't see how football players are going to be like "ok, now that i earn 5 mil. less, it's time to go back to school and get a degree". Personally i don't see how the current trend of paying 50 mil. for Jovic or even 40 mil. for Vinicius was a solid foundation for the future.
Previous huge reform - FPP has become a failure. Which is something i have expected. Would you prefer paying 250M for Neymar? I don`t see an issue with RM investing more towards youth level, nor with paying 40M+ for top youth talent. Given how revenues have increased in last decade. Not to mention how age related performance has dropped in the same time frame. And as result you get much more possible bang for the buck. Secondly, even if you don`t produce RM quality, you still have re-sale value. Albeit, balance is still required and you need to invest also in older players. Besides, another point which people often disagard is the entire "supply chain". There are tons of producing clubs to the lowest levels, who are all beneficiaries of transfers and receive certain sums. Given i come from small club, i know how important that cash can be. As such, i find "football revolution -> football will still be played" strange. We should be removing corruption from football. Not revenue.
This is actually obscene. 🤯From being stuck over a hole to producing this finish in seconds...🎥 IG: Sarcastico pic.twitter.com/4JXrgUKB4g— The Sportsman (@TheSportsman) April 1, 2020 Because of this video Santos have promised to give this kid an invite to a trial when the pandemic ends! 👏 https://t.co/5WT2TUqjiV— Santos FC English (@SantosFC_Ingles) April 1, 2020 Esse aí é o Caio, nação santista! FS2 has episodes of Classic Bundesliga matches which is pretty entertaining. Just watched a recap of Wolfsburg’s 5-1 defeat of Klinsmann’s Bayern in 2009. Forgot they had the Grafite/Dzeko partnership. Time flies.
I'm not the biggest Benzema fan and even I can confidently say NO ONE thinks Giroud is near Benzema's level.
Volkswagen took one of the goals and created an advertisment campaign around it. The best Wolfsburg team i've seen in person.
Hansi Flick has a new contract til 2023— Christian Falk (@cfbayern) April 3, 2020 Wow. Bayern's turnaround has been impressive, but a 3-year extension for Flick seems premature. One less spot for the likes of Poch and ten Hag.
The players like him and in current times, stability is a huge advantage. Which is why i think there is zero chance that Zidane would/should leave. I think Barca will keep Setien as well.
Sky Sports: Barcelona are prepared to send Antoine Griezmann to PSG as part of Neymar deal.Would you do it? pic.twitter.com/cSNNcEKQeS— total Barça (@totalBarca) April 3, 2020 Mes que un club, right?
1.Griezmann has been better than people assume he's been. 2.he'd have to agree to the move, which means he'd have to quit on Barca as much as they would quit on him.
He has Bayern flying and playing some attractive football. Seems well liked. Anyway, Madrid gave Solari a 3 year extension and canned him weeks later. Clubs do this all the time, optically a vote of confidence.
Barca at this point reminds me of Leeds. Going outside of their capacity in terms of spending to achieve their wet dream. Even if they manage to scrub cash for the fee, considering i doubt PSG would agree to straight swap, the wages would be monstrous. Him and Messi would cost 150M together at minimum.
