Beginning to think my husband and I had the Coronavirus back in mid February. A sickness we have never felt before.— Carli Lloyd (@CarliLloyd) March 20, 2020
I agree. More people sick this winter than ever before. And it wasn’t the flu. My husband got this as soon as mine was over. https://t.co/0yEkn5IG0f— Carli Lloyd (@CarliLloyd) March 20, 2020 All good. Cough/fluid in lungs lasted a bit long. https://t.co/SnQG3C6Ksv— Carli Lloyd (@CarliLloyd) March 20, 2020 Achy, headache, shortness of breath, cough with mucus in lungs. I trained through it all. 😳My husband was worse. For 4 days he couldn’t move off the couch. Incredibly achy with the same symptoms I had. https://t.co/QWgo3npen9— Carli Lloyd (@CarliLloyd) March 20, 2020 The day we played Mexico to qualify for the Olympics I woke up with a sore throat and felt achy. Popped some Tylenol, rolled up the sleeves and powered through a 90 min game. After the game and for the next 5 days I was super sick. 🤔— Carli Lloyd (@CarliLloyd) March 20, 2020 I agree. That’s where I was in Feb for qualifying. Feb 9 woke up with “something.” https://t.co/HHq1gO8hsi— Carli Lloyd (@CarliLloyd) March 20, 2020 https://twitter.com/CarliLloyd/status/1241044076138508290 Beginning to think my husband and I had the Coronavirus back in mid February. Carli Lloyd @CarliLloyd And fever and chills The day we played Mexico to qualify for the Olympics I woke up with a sore throat and felt achy. Popped some Tylenol, rolled up the sleeves and powered through a 90 min game. After the game and for the next 5 days I was super sick. But...We are both healthy and all good. Fully recovered. Just speculating that people could have this long before the testing came out and we knew exactly what it was. Carli Lloyd @CarliLloyd I agree. That’s where I was in Feb for qualifying. Feb 9 woke up with “something.” @NicDonadio · Mar 20 Replying to @CarliLloyd I live in LA and literally had the same thing, it hit me February 10th... lasted over a week. Tested negative for the flu, doctors told me it must have been a false negative -- cause I clearly had something.
Personally, I think she had the flu since it makes zero sense that the whole team in March played without anybody sick.
Young, healthy, fit, and female? They could all be positive without but one or two getting sick. Carly maybe being the one. OTOH, every year's flu is new, and somewhat different, and false negatives are not that uncommon.
