So Frankfurt are pretty much out. Wolfsburg have a big job to get through having lost 2-1 at home.

Leverkusen on the other hand are pretty much through. They were always the BL's best chance of winning the EL anyway tbh, although they will probably choke as usual lol.

and we got our 3rd + confirmation following Hubers and Horn in Nurnberger.

BL seems obsessed with finishing season. Bayern's KHR confirms that from Tuesday it will be delayed to early April. So seems like still no cancellation, just delays. Even 3rd Liga was just delayed.

    Youth Bundesliga games are canceled.

this is just dumb as hell just cancel the season already.

    still no cancellation just delays.

and at this point there likely won't be football until like at the min August. Wouldn't be surprised if it's not until like Fall 2020-Winter 2021, depending on it goes over next few months,

Summer break is like 2 and half months, this could be potentially over half a year. Longest period ever without anything.

I think delaying is the right tactic at this point, see how the virus develops. In China the rate of new infections has slowed. By May maybe the same will be happening in Europe.

U can’t cancel the season. Games have to resume at some point

In 3BL , from 2nd ranked team (Mannheim) to 10th ranked team (Wurzburger Kicker) is only 3 points apart. Which teams will be promoted?

    there are many considerations.

Delayed for now and when things get better just resume. The season won’t suddenly end this way.

Of coz even if they said “delay”, it’s only a temporary measure

I think China had more effect due to death threats and draconian methods to the population. They've also have had it longer. Most of Europe is unlikely to do that, on the other hand they got 1+ billion people.....

So Bayern wanna sign Upemecano and some young French rb from Lyon. Added to Hernandez and Pavard, at this rate virtually their whole defence will be French lol.

Bayern also gets linked a lot to French Wingers.

now we just need a Frenchie GK, another Frenchie midfielder and a Frenchie CF and we could play a whole XI of Frenchies.

    French Munich!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    LOL+LMAO.
Tomas Koubek, fourth most expensive goalkeeper in Bundesliga history with a transfer fee of 7.5 million euros, is the worst regular goalkeeper of this season with a kicker rating of 3.54. According to reports, FC Augsburg is already looking for a new number one. But that would have to create space in the squad. With Koubek (until 2024), Andreas Luthe (2022), Fabian Giefer (2021) and Benjamin Leneis (2023), four goalkeepers are under contract. A sale of Koubek would be associated with considerable financial losses, especially due to the Corona crisis. So the question of the future of the Czech could be tricky.

    amazing scouting by German clubs.

I don't understand why Bayern needs to sign Perisic if they sign Sane. He is 32 and has pretty big wages. Why not give OBM more chances instead?

Perisic is mediocre, I think it's because Sane and Coman have had injury issues.

but the good thing about Perisic being 32 is not he's not young, so he buys time for OBM and company.

With Sane the 2 first choice wingers will be Sane and Gnabry. Coman and Perisic for depth. Sane and Coman have significant fitness issues and you dont want to face a top CL opponent with OBM. Perisic salary is reported to be 4.5M a yr

I mean we faced CL opponents with 19 year old Muller, age means nothing. It's about being given chance to dev at highest level.

    LOL, so useless.

man can't wait to dump Tolisso and Coman. Hernandez is 1BL biggest transfer ever for an injury prone guy who didn't do much in his 1st season. Let's hope he does better than his Frenchie buddies.

German Gov gives greenlight for 1BL-2BL to start again 2nd half of May (15-16) behind close doors.

sucks for clubs headed for relegation to play last few games in current league without fans.

lol wasteful transfers seems like Leipzig's Wolf and Lookman are headed out and they spent like $35M on the pair.

Lookman is prime example of thinking every Brit is Sancho 2.0. One Elite talent doesn't make every Brit elite. But 1BL clubs do work on trends.

According to Mundo Deportivo, Utrecht may receive a number of Barcelona talents on loan next season.
Barcelona see the Eredivisie as a perfect league for a number of their B team players to get first team experience. A partnership with Utrecht is being discussed but is not formalised yet.
    https://www.football-oranje.com/barcelona-planning-to-send-talents-on-loan-to-utrecht/

is this accurate @feyenoordsoccerfan ? Seriously why do other leagues seem to have better loaning plans for young players than anything in Germany. Even England and their loan armies seem more prepped for loanning.

  25. Seems to be the case. Patrick Kluivert operates at Barcelona.
