some liquid football from leipzig falls apart in the box, but boy do they move down the field beautifully
'almost a sell out at red bull arena' cant sell out a champions league knockout round match? covid fears or is this normal for them?
That's two dirty tackles in quick succession from Tottenham. Unhappy team. And now Sabitzer gets a yellow for a payback tackle.
adams with a nice recovery run to force a less comfortable cross and a resulting weaker attempt on goal
Corona. They didn't know until yesterday whether they'd be allowed spectators or not. https://www.football.london/tottenham-hotspur-fc/news/coronavirus-tottenham-rb-leipzig-game-17889386
adams runs onto a long ball and has his cross deflected out for a corner but not before lloris got a bit concerned about giving up the embarrassing looping goal
Adams with a foray into the middle. He tried the harder of the two passes available to him and it didn't work, but I liked the confidence.
spurs look like theyve quit. leipzig just had the slowest looping switch between defenders ive seen and gedson i think was still a second late to challenge for the ball
Adams is not making sensible passing decisions. Combo of rust and this never really being a strength of his game.
i think adams is a perfectly good passer of the ball when playing centrally. he never seems comfortable out wide though
Adams shot blocked/prevented, Forsberg hammers the rebound in with his first touch off the bench to make it 3-0. This doesn't make up for Arsenal being so bad this season, but it helps.
Maybe the best you can say about Adams is that he shook a little rust off, but that's nothing to complain about under the circumstances.
