As a football professional who has a passion for youth soccer and development , I am SICK of the toxic behavior there is on this board towards young players. whether it is joao Felix, Bruno fernandes , or any others - they are all Portuguese!!! Above all it is good for our national team. Despite what fans of the big 2 (sporting doesn’t count ) think, nobody cares about our league or our clubs. Most people only know The national team. The days of Porto, benfica, sporting, etc winning European trophies are well behind us. Just support our players !! Especially when they are youngsters !!!!

Yeah! STOP! Stop comparing young players who have done nothing to Ronaldo and sing there praises when a ball bounces off everything that goes in for a goal while down playing and IGNORING young Portuguese players who are actually scoring and dominating bigger players. It's such a shame that even in this thread Jota is put into the "etc" category despite playing better than the 2 that the coach of the year likes to only focus on. So let's all STOP what we are doing and grab a god damn mirror before opening our mouths.
