I’m not too worried about his performance, he only 18... 18 years old. however I do feel like people need to drop this expectations he going to be the next Bruyne or david silva

To be fair, almost 19 and I’ve seen little to no improvement over the last year. He’s stagnating and I feel like his confidence has dropped.

I think even moving him down to the second division where he’s an undisputed starter for the remainder of the season would help him immensely.

He doesn't need to go to second division, he's good enough to be starting in a lower team in the first division.

He just needs to find a team where he can play regularly.

He came on at 70’ against Getafe when Valencia were already down by 2 goals.

    They lost 3-0.

Nothing really positive to note about his performance again.

Got elbowed in the face, had a hard slip in the grass, and only had a 60% pass success rate about sums it up.

Lee needs to drive down his contract and move to another club. He also needs to get rid of his stupid agents who got him in this mess to begin with.

He performed so well as a sub against Real Sociedad a couple of weeks ago. It would’ve been nice for him to get some minutes last week to see if he could continue and put in another good performance.

Unfortunately, Celades will never risk putting him in if Valencia are in the lead during a game. It is what it is.

Now that his teammates like Guedes and Cheryshev have recovered from injury, Kangin is in trouble. The little playing time that he did have is now going to them.

He was left off the squad list for tomorrow’s game. This is the first time since August that he’s been excluded from the call by technical decision and not because of injury.

To top it off, his transfer market value has just decreased by $5 million making him one of the top 10 players in LaLiga with the largest drop in value.

    Terrible.

Surely a drop in transfer value could only be good for a change of scenery?

    Lee needs to move on.

    -----

Marseille and Nice have both made enquiries for Valencia midfielder Kangin Lee, according to reports.

Plaza Deportiva cite L’Equipe as reporting that Marseille have proposed a loan deal with an option to buy for the midfielder who is out of contract at the Mestalla in 2020.

It had been thought the 19-year-old – capped three times by South Korea – is highly valued at the club and they see him as a future star, with Gols Media saying they had reassured him on first-team opportunities.

Lee joined Los Che’s academy as a 10-year-old in the summer of 2011 and six years later received his first call-up to the club’s B team.

In October 2018, the midfielder became the youngest Korean player to play professional football in Europe as he made his first-team debut against Ebro in the Copa del Rey.

He made his La Liga debut three months later when he replaced Denis Cheryshev, becoming the second youngest player to feature in that season’s La Liga after Ander Barrenetxea of Real Sociedad.

Lee was officially handed the club’s number 16 jersey that month and has now made 27 first-team appearances – including five in this season’s Champions League.

Words mean nothing. He's riding wood consistently and that doesn't look like it's going to change. They have zero interest in developing him as a player.
