Disappointed with the performance. We were too scared!

Next game we have k2 back and they lack so many players, we have to take the game to them!

Disagree. We have to sit back for 70 minutes and then attack the last 20 minutes. They will get nervous.

We really needed to keep a clean sheet. I dont know about our chances in Barcalona that stadium will give them a big boost. I am glad Vidal got sent off he was pure garbage and played like a thug.

Or we push them back and take it from there, yesterday we didn't even get Fabian involved in the attack - why waste him like that?

They are average when you take the game to them given how hurt their squad is and with the way we master playing we could be their poison.
Their problem is that their front 3 are all slow and don't run in behind, when we have K2 back we should just play high up the pitch, Allan also needs to start no more of this ADL punishment bs.

We have to attack! Rather die on our feet than live on our knees.

This is the Barcelona players out in the next game:
    Suarez
    Dembele
    Braithwathe
    Busquets
    Vidal
    Jordi Alba
    Sergi Roberto
    Pique (maybe)

There was, more, but I am not surprised that you did not catch it. However, he did not play the whole half; moreover, he came on when we were already getting tired, as Griezman noted in an interview.

Allan was absolutely terrible ever since he came on the pitch. He couldn't get a single pass right...

If you knew better you would know he wasn't playing his best positions, and just like Fabian was before; he is being played way out of position.
It limits Allan's game when he doesn't have the freedom to press the opponent with coverage behind him.

Why do I always gotta explain these things? Instead of calling players out one should ask themselves, why have they dropped so much in performance? Deduct then conclude, you should know that.
It wasn't long ago Allan scored the winner to get Napoli out of their crisis.

You might say he should still be able to pass better, but truth is Allan isn't being put on the pitch to build up from the back with pitch-perfect passing.

I suggest playing Allan instead of Zielinski. We don't need both Zielinski and Fabian at the same time at Camp Nou.

    Agree.

I would play Zielinski on the wing.

If you an't see how quality drops when we go from Dries to Milik then I can't help you.

Sacki - I understand that; however, if a player is good he can simulate a position at least decently, which he didn't do; moreover, he seriously damaged his reputation in my books when he didn't train properly. The fans pay his salary, not the old fart, so he should have shown some respect. I am a fan and I want to see some repentance before I forgive him, and on top of that I want to see proof that he is sth that is not easy to replace. So far, we have shown some consistency and a couple of good performances without him, so I don't see why I should immediately bow to him now.

Careca - I see the difference, but firstly, I thought we were restricting ourselves strictly to the discussion of the game against Barcelona; and secondly, I thought I was addressing the harshness of your expression. There is a huge difference btwn saying that Mertens is better and saying that Milik is pure garbage, which is wholly unnecessary. I kind of neither like nor rate Milik, but I just can't objectively say that he performed badly against Barcelona.

I didn't like Insigne's performance especially. He lost the ball and tried to get a foul whistled and as a consequence of that we conceded. He also took a shot when he luckily penetrated into the oppositions box when the angles clearly worked for the goalkeeper. He should have opted for a pass, and he did it again later. Both him and Mertens believe themselves to be individually capable, but Mertens simply delivers much more often than Insigne. Mertens is our golden player, he has been, that is...

My point was he is not a top striker. Of course he does good stuff at times.

But to be regular CL and win in games like this we need better strikers.

Milik is never going to be a game changer.
