So far everybody seems to be using the generic USL San Diego thread for news.

There isn't a San Diego USL or San Diego Loyal subforum, just an San Diego MLS expansion candidate one. So I've just asked one of the USL Forum mods @SoccerPrime about it.

The match jersey(s) is/are to be unveiled next Thursday, February 13, @ 7pm.

    So far we've seen:
    • an all grey training jersey (feauturing that a SD based sponsor) and black shorts.
    • an orange jersey with some white and the same black shorts.

If I remember correctly adidas was having issues with getting the Torrey pine green color correctly represented.

Thus I expect a mainly Torrey pine green uniform with some orange for the primary. No idea about the secondary.

Hope that the match jerseys are available without sponsor or that they don't have one yet.

Possibly but their owners seem to think that can be avoided.

If NYCFC doesn't sort out a stadium soon they may find that some of their Long Island based supporters will drift off to Queensboro FC and David Villa.

That article is kind of crazy:
In late January the only work that had taken place is that they've cleared the land.

Supposedly, they just started actual construction in the last week or two, but I haven't been by there to see what exactly that entails.

Reminds me of RGV Toros, when they made announcement in the McAllen news paper that their stadium would be opening in 3 months, but was actually over a year away from opening. Driving by the stadium at the time of the announcement and they weren't finished with the grading of the parking lots and the stadium site.

I drove past there yesterday. There's a cement pad that seems roughly stadium width, which comports with the theory that they're putting in a modular stadium.

There is no obvious way to it yet, but there are tracks leading to it from where the existing roads end (it's kind of a long way!).

I'm not sure how much they want at first (running water? Paved parking?), but they probably could have something by summer (assuming it ever stops raining).

I'd guess they were probably vastly overpaying the man. A 70% cut probably put him in line with other USL coaches pay.
