I will be visiting London from the U.S. with my family in April. During this trip I would like to take the four of us to the Chelsea-Watford game on Sunday, April 12th. I'm a little unclear the best way to get tickets, as well as the best place for a family to sit in the stadium. Any advice would be appreciated. I did go to the Chelsea website, which states that tickets go on sale 42 days before match day. But there's lot of detail on season memberships, etc. and so I'm unclear if and how I can buy single match tickets. Thanks in advance for any assistance. (For what it's worth, my children are 6 and 8.)
Honestly, your best bet is going Chelsea in America ASAP and seeing if you can get tickets. They're the official supporters club here in the States. They will have an allotment and I would think, just my opinion, that you can land 4.
Thank you for the suggestion. I went to the website and it states that membership in Chelsea for America for 2019-2020 is closed. Any other suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
I see now that tickets are available on StubHub. That seems legitimate, although it does not seem to specify what exact seats you would get. Do people have a recommended place to sit with a family?
I can't answer that unfortunately. @Ninjatend0 or Dr_Intoxicated can answer this for you though. Dr_Intoxicated goes to matches regularly I believe. I feel like Ninjatend0 went in the last couple of years as well.
i was west upper last i went and it was definitely family friendly. as for stubhub, i'd heard that was going to be a new available platform, and i think it's become a legitimate way for season ticket holders to sell tickets. i've just never used it myself. some quick google-ing could probably tell you, i think i remember chelseafc.com even having an article about it.
