[emoji118]watch the touch completion he did good just missed the gol got assist hopefully he scores this weekend
Anyone else think Wolves can make a deep run in the Europa League? If they get a favorable path they could make it top 4 or further.
The way things are going im not sure there will be an Olympics. This chines flu is the real deal hollyfield pandemic. Japan has started to get hit bad.
I'm not sure they can, and I'm not sure they'll want to, both because they have such a narrow squad. The EPL is very demanding, and the EL requires many games and travels overseas. This big victory against Espanyol isn't certainly not a great gauge. They're last in La Liga and the EL is certainly the least of their concerns at this point.
That's already longer than most flights in the US. A 5 hour flight one way is already quite a bit. Plus the city of Wolverhampton has no international airport, they have to travel to London which is some 200 km away, then catch their flight, possibly stop somewhere for layover, then land and hope that their final destination isn't too far from the nearest international airport. Then do it all over again once the game is over. 72 hours there's another EPL matchday with a possible away game, which means more traveling. Sounds exhausting.
To me, it seems they have a better shot of putting all their eggs into the EL to qualify for champions league.
There are closer international airports than London. Birmingham isn't all that far away, and even Manchester is just a shortish run up the M6 motorway.
I know, but the EPL is where the club makes the lion's share of their money, so it's their priority. The EL pays little cash, even for the winner. It won't be easy for Wolves to win the EL as there are many contenders.
Gol Raul!!! A mere tap-in, but he had been responsible for most of the build-up play leading up to it.
Wolves will win the EL, I dont think they’ll place in CL positions in the EPL it’s too congested now that tot’ham and Man U are picking up W’s
They have a tough remaining schedule but I think a lot of the teams they are competing with for those spots all still have to play each other... They still have Spuds, resurgent Arsenal and Everton, Chelsea and a scrappy Sheffield United. They can do it but it will be tough fighting on two fronts with a relatively thin squad...
