FA Cup. I'd say I don't care (and I usually don't), but the way this season has gone we may need to win the FA Cup to play in Europe next season. Interesting sideshow here is the Eddie Howe v. Mikel Arteta: the manager who many people say should have succeeded Wenger v. the manager who should have succeeded Wenger. Time: 2000 GMT/1500 EST/1400 CST TV: the Ocho* Location: Dean Court *Actually ESPN+. Still can't believe the Ocho is a real thing.
Bournemouth is going down hard to the championship. Howe is relying on the most English team in the entire PL I don't know if that was on purpose or not. Domeatic Cup games are useless to me so play the kids. But I guess for morale, confidence and to show results the boss will trot out a decent side on the south coast to get A win. A very winnable match at least i.can watch some Arsenal this weekend!
Winning the FA cup would be great. Given that the league is finished and top 3 is solid, I think most good teams will be taking it seriously though so doubt we can win it unless we get a very lucky draw. We can definitely beat Bournemouth and should build on the chelsea game with a convincing performance. I’m also loving that they might be relegated. So tired of the Eddie Howe hype train...I think he would have been worse than emery at Arsenal.
We should win, they are going down Eddie needs to Leave, the squad has gone as far as it can and been ravaged by injuries
...and just think, back in 2015, before we even talked about Leicester and their incredible 5000-1 long-shot run to the title, AFC Bournemouth were THE talk of football after winning automatic promotion to the EPL (by winning the Championship the season before), remember they were at one time 15 minutes away from going out of business (and 4 million pounds in debt) years ago to becoming the talk of football and slowly developing a following of somewhats after this Premier League Download episode NBCSN aired their first ever season in the EPL. The fall from grace, you would hate to see the EPL without the presence of Eddie Howe in it, he has grown into a cult favorite, I DO hope both that we beat them in the FA Cup and that the Cherries find a way to make that "Great Escape" from the bottom three, I just don't see AFC Bournemouth not playing top flight football. Eddie Howe WILL find a way to get them to safety (provided they spend some money in these 6 remaining days in the January transfer window on top-flight-caliber players as opposed to bargain-basement ones), and then retool the club for next season. https://www.nbcsports.com/video/bournemouth-together-anything-possible-0
Sadly I'm traveling again so I won't be able to watch this live. But hopefully I'll be able to do see it on ESPN+ after the fact, somehow avoiding spoilers
Our kids don't have quality like Pool kids or Chelsea kids. If we did we would trot them out in cup matches like they do and still win. But we don't we have a mishmash of 1-2 kids, reserves and 2-4 starters. These cups Just highlights our lack of talent, quality and depth
When I checked half an hour ago, it was on the schedule. Now it's disappeared. In addition to the alternate link, does anyone know what happened?
On Roku. Funny, I see I can log into website and stream no problem but the game doesnt show on the roku app. Searching the app shows no results, I reloaded the app with no luck. No worries, thanks Maskito!
Great turn by Willock in the buildup, and good combination between Martinelli and Saka. That shot was a rocket - worth saying Boom Sakalaka!
