DvD for 60 million would not be my ideal signing for any formation.

I'd love it if true, I just am not convinced PSG let him leave and if he is sold other teams will do whatever is possible to sign him.

Is Donny a system player? I think YS is saying that too.

But I see your points. CAM is full with Isco and Odegaard. Kroos and especially Casemiro positions are very fraile.

Maybe its just an agreement but nothing is signed yet. I am sure players will need to leave if he does arrive though.

Definitely rather sign VDB for 55m than Pogba for I don't know how much....

If any of this is true, then it's obviously a Zizou signing. He must have a very specific way in which he wants to use this player...If so, then all good.

A world beater is not always necessary...maybe VDB is the guy to carry out exactly a portion of the plan Zizou has in mind.

Anyways, he's a very interesting player in my opinion.

Probably looking at the sale of James and Isco if both Odegaard and VBD are coming in the summer.

If Neymar signs an extension with PSG that changes everything.

On one hand it could encourage Mbappe to follow his course of action. On the other it gives Mbappe the out for this summer if he holds resolute.

Anyways, too early to speak in this things. PSG are in a purple patch, if they get knocked out of the CL everything changes.

I don’t see Neymar going anywhere. PSG will throw more money at him and he’ll stay once he realizes there are no buyers. Unless he’s willing to go to the EPL. :ROFLMAO:

I think Barca were wasting time last summer, I don’t believe there was genuine interest there. Financially it was never going to happen.

It's the last summer the board has to make a difference. They ignore the calls from inside the team to bring Neymar back and they pay for it in the next elections.

Alvaro Ruiz, son of Fernando Hierro, went on chiringuito this evening.

He says that he believes the future of Neymar and Mbappe are dependent upon one another. If Neymar were to leave, they wouldn't allow Mbappe to leave even if he was dead.

However, he does believe that in a few years, it will be the Madrid of Mbappe vs the Barca of Neymar

Neymar is about to be 28 and it's been a while since he played his best football. Going back to Barca would be good for him but would Barca want to make that investment given his age, attitude and injury record?

I think it's just as likely they'd try and go for mbappe with him being a Nike player already making that a little easier.

I'm not saying they'll sign mbappe but I think they would certainly try to complicate things for us if for no other reason than to keep us from getting the next generational talent. Certainly it's the less risky, higher reward option considering the cost.

Edu Aguirre, pretty decent source, had some things to say about Mbappe today.

He says that PSG is getting more nervous each day at Mbappe's lack of renewal.
They are doing everything possible for him to renew.

They are willing to pay him more than Neymar.

Apparently, they have a person with Mbappe 24 hours a day, essentially as a servant for Kylian.

Supposedly, some players in the PSG locker room speculate that even if we offered 300 million, they won't let him leave.

I believe the words of Zidane, previous managers, teammates and club presidents.

I have learned not to believe these so-called insiders. They are saying nothing different to what I have and all I've done is use quotes from actual people who are close to the situation to come to educated conclusions (guesses).

Zidane did say Mbappe's dream is to play for Real Madrid, so I am assuming they have already spoke.....

Nothing new, everything has been known for a few years. The last useful piece of info was Zidane's words.

Next summer he'd be 300M. I wouldn't mind waiting for 2021 for a cut price or 2022 for free.

Uh he hasn't had his gauntlet in years.

We have failed on all of Zidane's big wishes except Hazard who we paid €100M for with one year remaining on hus contract.

I love Flo, he is the best; but them the facts yo.

Am I the only one who's not concerned at all about when is Mbappe coming? To me he's the missing piece in the puzzle, not the puzzle itself.
Integrating players like Militao, Mendy, Jovic, Rodrygo, Vinicius, Hakimi?, Odegaard? and some middlefield signings next season then Mbappe comes to complete the puzzle.

Integrating these guys makes signings like Mbappe less critical to the success of the club but I think we can do both, it's really more a question of does Florentino think the deal makes sense. I'm not convinced he'd pay the rumored fee and wages for Mbappe, that could change however if Mbappe has a good season in champions League and shows that he can carry psg like Ronaldo and messi have done over the years.

Reinier Jesus turns 18 today and Real Madrid can now announce the agreement reached with Flamengo. The idea is for Madrid to announce the deal tomorrow; €30M which 80% will go to Flamengo, 10% to his agents & 10% to the player. Deal until 2026. [marca]
