You have to think they will defend and try and get Rashford, Martial etc. going on the counter attack.

We have coped well with this strategy most of the season.

I really like the way we have smothered teams recently. Leicester and Spurs away couldn't get out their own half for large parts of the match.

    Looking forward to it.

    I'll triple that. :)
Klopp is the man with the plan. I'm sure he has a plan for Rashford just as he took Vardy right out of the game with Lester.

Just win, I don't care if it's an ugly 1-0 in the 91st minute. Keep the winning going, wrap up this league title ASAP.

That said I'm feeling a 2-1 win, for the record... but a really annoying 1-1 would not shock me! Prove me wrong LFC, hammer them.

Manure have a tough FA Cup replay on Weds vs Wolves. I expect the FAC to be high on ole's priority list, so hopefully (a) he'll go with his strongest side and (b) it'll be a fast and physical game that goes to extra time.

    every little bit helps.

Manchester United could be handed another major fitness boost ahead of Sunday's Premier League visit to Liverpool.
United have struggled for centre-back options in recent months due to a plethora of injuries in the position.
However, Old Trafford boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has revealed Eric Bailly is close to a return to first-team action after almost six months on the sidelines with knee ligament damage.

cant imagine they would start him. I suppose CBs are different - but for example there is no chance Fabinho starts in Sunday.

The angel on one shoulder keeps reminding me that "this is a different Liverpool side this year,", and the devil on the other reminds me how we dropped points against them this season at a time when they were really in poor form...

Well, he's very important to us. Man Utd can seemingly afford to throw money away so they might risk him......

Liverpool have been given a double injury boost ahead of Sunday's visit from Manchester United after Fabinho and Joel Matip came through a training session unscathed.

This game is just about bragging rights. If we win the league they shouldnt be able to say "but you didnt beat us" or shite like that. No thrashing needed, just a normal win allowing us to set this part of the story straight.

Man United and West Ham are the only teams we haven’t beaten yet. Of course, that’s because we haven’t played West Ham.

Rashford just limped off for Manure in their FA Cup game. That was just a few minutes after he was subbed on. So hopefully he's ruled out.

I think he took a knee to knee and it's just an in-game knock - like a dead leg. They will do anything to get him ready for Sunday.
