Jeet Heer retweeted this, saying that Americans don't understand that conservatives in alliance states see what a circus we currently are. Remember, even Boris JOhnson was laughing at Trump. I’m Michael McCain, CEO of Maple Leaf Foods, and these are personal reflections. I am very angry, and time isn’t making me less angry. A MLF colleague of mine lost his wife and family this week to a needless, irresponsible series of events in Iran...— Maple Leaf Foods (@MapleLeafFoods) January 13, 2020
Honestly, how many Trump supporters could tell you anything at all about the politics of any foreign country?
On a lighter note: Congrats Harry and Meghan on being the first rich and powerful people to ever make good on their pledge to move to Canada— Orli Matlow (@HireMeImFunny) January 8, 2020 Or maybe the Brexit thread?
“We demand fairness” shouts Pelosi and the Do Nothing Democrats, yet the Dems in the House wouldn’t let us have 1 witness, no lawyers or even ask questions. It was the most unfair witch-hunt in the history of Congress!— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) January 13, 2020 You were "allowed" a ton of witnesses. You just wouldn't allow them to testify.
Wow! My wife and I used to joke that whenever one of us came up with a great idea, we'd say "you're a genius with a capital J." We stopped doing that by the time our daughter got to be 3 or 4 because she would actually start thinking that was how the word was spelled. Truth really is stranger than fiction....
However, I would bet heavily that story is fiction. Frank knows damn well that it's Donald John Trump. He was just having some fun, telling a joke at Trump's expense.
You'd be surprised. I saw a slob in overalls in a Midwest diner on Fox go into detail on the branches of the Russian Federation and the domestic/international challenges facing Putin in his 20th year in power. He ended with a big burp and a hearty "LOCK HER UP!"
Was that before or after he and Cletus got into a heated argument over who was better in his prime, Baryshnikov or Nureyev?
I feel like the conservative ethos is be mean and be hypocritical no matter what. Larry Craig, Paul Ryan, and so on. This however, is something else and yet on brand. Family values + law and order + limited government = stealing your mother’s government benefits https://t.co/0FMY7wurbb— Windsor Mann (@WindsorMann) January 13, 2020
It wasn't "car" singular, but cars plural? Meaning the other Florida Men just didn't bother to report it the first time?
Something about Dems would do the same: BREAKING: As the November impeachment hearings got underway, Russia's GRU hacked Burisma in what appears to be a repeat of 2016, when GRU hackers breached the DNC and then selectively leaked emails to hurt Clinton's candidacy. https://t.co/nQhhndnAV3 with @AllMattNYT— Nicole Perlroth (@nicoleperlroth) January 13, 2020
Instead of “Vote blue no matter who” can we just change it to “We want the D” because that’s what I’m saying from now on— The Volatile Mermaid (@OhNoSheTwitnt) January 14, 2020
"China, if you're listening. Not sure what our voters would do with it since healthcare and tax fairness are big priorities. But if you have some dirt on Ivanka I guess we'll take a quick look at it" - Dem candidate
So Trump is going to get hit from left and right - these guys appear to be well funded Another ad from Republicans for the Rule of Law."Bolton is willing to do his duty, to tell the truth. Apparently Lev was the middle man for Russian money? After our trip to DC, we worked through the night providing a trove of Lev Parnas’ WhatsApp messages, text messages & images—not under protective order—to #HPSCI, detailing interactions with a number of individuals relevant to the impeachment inquiry. #LetLevSpeak #LevRemembers pic.twitter.com/HdHaCyZXIm— Joseph A. Just saw this today as well. Apparently NYT first reported on it awhile ago but it just got lost in the crazy news cycle. That's massive. Why aren't the American public, regardless of politics, more upset? Dont they see what this means?
1. As you've said, there are so many crazy corrupt things happening everyday that even some big news get buried in the steaming bull pile. 2. Our MSM has the attention span of a labrador watching a tennis game. They can only follow the shinny stuff for the most part, and they're easily distracted if something shinier comes around. Iran War!! 3. The American public is also desensitized and unable to keep their attention on so many breaches of democracy and legality. 4. Add to that that to 40% of the public the president can't do no wrong, and the MSM sticking to their he said/she said routine, and, even if it was covered, you end up with most of the American public only seeing like 10% of the crap and missing all the corruption and crimes that are just under the surface.
